  1. hi, guys, I hope you'll get your EADs very soon!

Avania, Im crossing my fingers for you!

meanwhile, Im getting nervous. We called Obamacare people yesterday to add me onto my husband's mediacal insurance (I finally got my ITIN* number which we applied for in april, and I didnt have time to drive an hour to local IRS to apply for SSN yet). But it was not even an issue: they told us that he can only add me in November when he renews his policy for the year 2016. So now we wont be able to get a joint medical insurance for the interview, which really sucks.

So far, from the financial evidence we have only joint bank accounts (debit cards), joint taxes for 2014. We cant get a joint lease or any utility bills since we live with his family in their house.

Does anybody have any suggestions what other financial documents we can bring?

*ITIN - is a SSNumber that can be issued to immigrants before they have EAD and can apply for a proper SSN in order to be able to file joint taxes.

  2. hi, guys, some people from May thread called to USCIS, talked to tier 2 officers and asked about their EAD/APs, and they were told that they are going through some sort of an upgrade to a new system, so all the EAD/APs approvals and card production will be delayed after the end of July

be patient, guys! soon the wait will be over

  3. Hi guys, just want to make an update. Today I decided to look at my i94 form online, just for the hell of it, and the last entry was gone!!! (My I94 thought that i left the country in march, which I didnt). I dont know what happened, because when I called CBP they told me that they couldnt do anything and our lawyer also told us not to think about that.

    That is a miracle :)

  4. Got my green card in mail today!

    Here's my full timeline:

    April, 1 - package sent

April, 6 - package received by USCIS (April, 13 - notice in mail)

June, 22 - online inquiry about the status of Employment Authorization application submitted (past 75 days)

June, 23 - EAD approved (June, 27 - notice in mail); online status changed to "Approved" on June, 28

Good luck everyone, the wait is almost over!

Congratulations! How did your interview go?

  5. Hi everyone, hows everybody doing? any progress? I saw late may filers and june filers are getting ready to be scheduled for the interview. and I'm still waiting for any notices after my biometrics more than a month ago...

By the way, K1 and other family based visa holders, you have a separate thread in the forum for your processing times, which differ from ours!

  6. I have the same problem with my I-94. It thinks I left the country in March, but I cancelled my flight, and this still happened. I contacted my lawyer who said that this happens to a looot of people and that I should do nothing about it, and it will all be fine.

I decided that I wanted to verify the info and called the field office that redirected me to the CBP at the Airport, and the man there said that I'm out of status anyways, so it doesn't matter. And told me that they wont change anything regarding my I-94

So you lucky guys, that you sorted this thing out. But I actually have no idea what to do about it now
