Thanks y’all I hust called our consul in tx and told me that they can give me a travel doc however on getting back here I need to renew my passport however it is by appointment and it’s currently booked for two months and I will only stay there for 5 days and the processing takes 7-10 days. So It won’t work. sighs please pray for my dad’s soul. Thanks y’all 😊

My dad just passed away this morning and my PH passport expired June 18 this year, what are my options? I read about travel document or extending my passport but what I am worried about is how will I get back here in US? I will just be planning to stay for two days there. I am so sad that I won't get to see my dad one last time. =( 

I am from Texas and I read the nearest consulate is in LA. =( I am a permanent resident and have the letter for one-year extension since I am applying for removal of conditions (I751)

I went through the posts here but I cannot seem to find the answer to my question, some of you might think it is given but I am confused though lol! 

On the part 5 about children, I just gave birth last year and basically he was born here, he is a USC. So do I need to include him on that form? because some says yes because it says include all children then just put no on Is this child applying with you?  then some says I do not have to include him, since he is a USC. So I am confused on which to follow.

I am consolidating all of the forms and requirements for our AOS to be submitted today.

My question is on the G325A of my husband he is the USC I remember that we submitted that when we filed for the K1 back in the Philippines, he attached the divorce decree on his previous marriage. The question is Do I have to include that divorce decree? or just fill out the name and date and place of marriage and the termination of marriage info there?

Also for i-864 what documents should we include? Tax returns? W2? Certificate of Employment? Paystubs?

Can we only send it through USPS? how about UPS?

Ahh alright. Thank you guys! we were filling out our AOS forms, on the G325a of the US citizen what should I put here? " This form is submitted in connection with an application for:"

I know it should be Other, however what will I put there? i-130? that's what I have been seeing in google but then we dont have i130 form that is included in our AOS form. gonna be crazy soon.. waaaahh ! please help!

WIth that said topic about AOS, until when can you apply for that? I mean do u have to apply for it immediately? We are currently short and planning to apply for it later, will we have any problem with that?

Just frustrated because I wanted to get a job to help my hubby to save also for our future, however I was informed that I cant work until I submitted AOS..

Just need to be enlightened with the immigration process.

I entered as k1 visa holder and we have been married legally here in TX.

My hubby is a former veteran we heard that the aos process can be expedited because of that Is that true?
