That’s correct but once I try to register after filling out this form and hit the submit button then it tell me that your country isn’t active anymore

awesome information but the first step says to register a pick up location for passport pick up . Once I click on that it tells me that your country isn’t active anymore . Is that because I’m the petitioner live in US ?

Our case went to transit today . Should we submit completed DS-160 online application form now or should we wait until it shows ready? Also we don’t show anywhere on the form to schedule an interview at embassy is that next step after we pay the fee ? Thank you

Hello VJ family , I might be thinking little too much about DS-160 form questions but can someone kindly help to clarify. on travel information section they ask Application Receipt/petition number . Should I provide the uscis receipt number or is it the NVC case number ?

You don’t need embassy letter usually once your status change to ready you would start and submit DS161 form , pay fee , schedule an interview and doctor appointment . I would recommend to call your local embassy but you should be good

Our petition was approved on Aug 20th and sent to NVC on Sep 25 . We inquired twice and finally NVC has received it on Oct 10th . We have received our case # through email . Hope that helps .

I’ve checked the status and it shows At NVC . So what happens next ? Do we need to do anything at this point or should we just wait until the status shows to In Transit?

Our NOA2 was sent yesterday to NVC by USCIS after 35 days of Approval . May I ask how long did it take for NVC to receive your petition from USCIS? Thank you

I have a status notification from USCIS today . And it’s for the case has sent to DOS . The question is how do I get my case ID ? “On September 25, 2024, we sent your case, Receipt Number WACXXXXXX , to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address”

Thank you everyone. I’ve submitted an inquiry. Let’s see what they say . And I guess , will keep checking my status through USCIS website. I’ll start working on I-134 form and supporting documentation to send to beneficiary or is it too early ?

How do I know if NVC has received our approved petition? I am USC the petitioner and I have received NOA2 more than a month ago that our petition was approved and NVC will handle the rest of process but I haven’t received any communication from NVC yet . Do I need to create any login for NVC to check the status of our application or something?

Boarding passes , passport stamp and picture togethers within last 2 years are more than enough . We did not include any call log or chat from social media.

It has to do something with your address. The postman wasn’t able to deliver packet at your letterbox so they returned the packet back to uscis most probably it’s RFE letter
