Have you tried filling out a status inquiry about your case? It says not to until your 6 months are up but in your case, you're almost there so you could try.

My fiancee called them an hour ago, the tier2 told her that they're working on April files

so we have to wait for 2 more months

That's a lie. People from June are getting approved. They only tell you they're on april because that's what the chart on their website allows the public to see. Besides, that's as of September 30th. They are past April but they only update what they completed the full month before.

Agreed! It's bad enough that they are so slow but now we cant even check our status. I also haven't been able to access my account for almost a week. Just keep getting the same error message.

I usually just call the customer service center on their website. It all depends on who you get. I called once in August and I got a bitter man who acted like I was bothering him. I called about a month ago and was told I can't call until my 5 months are up because I am still in normal processing time. The second time it was a nicer woman but she did not give me any information that I did not already know. However, I have been reading on here that when you call,you're supposed to ask for a tier 2 officer and they can assist you better. I am not sure which time is the best to call. I just know that no matter what time I call, the next time I better get a better answer than "we are processing march 4th".

Youre not alone guys. June 24th still in initial review even if they don't file in order. I plan on calling USCIS the minute my 5 month mark hits. I refuse to get off the phone until someone gives me some information and doesn't just refer me to the website. It seems like you really have to be annoying in order to get through to these people.

In the middle off all of this going on. I would happily like to announce. That there has been another june approval.

This time from Nigeria. And they filed on June 3 I believe. So far I'm 1 week there have been around 5 approval from the beginning of June (that we know of)

So in my opinion they are working on it. And we are very close.

And to be honest. The previous comments about the Philipo approval. They did wait for 5 months before they got an approval. They did not get a "1 month" approval.

I want to. There is one only about 50 miles away from me. My only fear is that they will think I am wasting their time because all I merely want is more information. The site doesn't provide any insight so I want to talk to an actual person. (USCIS customer service is pathetic)

Has anyone had an appointment with an officer at their local office? When I called the customer service center, they told me I could do that to get more information?

Ditto...I saw the VJ processing times say June 1 st but I highly doubt it I'm a late June filer but I'm still hoping June is around the corner for uscis.

If it's accurate (and I'm hoping it is ) they were on may 21 yesterday and jumped to June 1 today! But i don't see anything either on igors list. Ahh it's so frustrating. And how come uscis won't update their status to the actual date? Like they updated the site in October but it's rereflecting as of august 31. Why do they do that??? What's the point honestly!? Just tell us where u are the day u update it. I wouldn't mind waiting a month for them to update but at least update to that day and not something that happened 2 months ago

I gotta question that most of you are annoyed about too. How come uscis says they do the cases in the order they receive them but yet there are people who get approved before others even though they filed after? And how can someone who filed in May be approved if the website says they're only on april? I already know about the expedition for people in the Phillipines and this was not it. I'm just curious as to why some have already been approved? Seems like we shouldn't even pay attention to any of these lists and processes.

The uscis page updates their page but takes forever to update their chart. They have been on February 2nd for over a month now and it says that information is as of "July 31".

How reliable is this time line? Is it usually right?

My name is Samra and I filed for the K1 visa back in June 2014. June 16th to be exact was when I sent my paper work in and I recevied my receipt on June 22. My fiance is in Bosnia which is in eastern europe. My main concern is why is it taking so long? They don't update their site often so I don't even know what case is being processed at this time. Can any of you give me a time frame of when I should expect a decision? Thanks for all the help in advance.
