  1. Remembering to be kind is not a speech on "Proper Behavior" it's a reminder of the act of human kindness. I certainly am not on the proverbially soap box and I am most certainly not uninformed on the situation and I have never "Judged" anyone here.

You certainly were uniformed on the situation occurring within this thread as you have never once responded to anything on here until you came on to defend that guy. And you absolutely did judge everyone on here who were making comments- and again this is the first time I've ever seen you in this thread. You don't know any of the ladies on here, what their situations are, what they are dealing with, etc. You accused people of attacking someone- of putting up a front of kindness to him and then turning on him and of being unkind. How is any of that you not being judgemental?

  2. I'm going to respectively disagree with your outburst towards BryterMoon. Understandably emotions are high, but I don't believe he came on here to intentionally "Brag" to the TSC members that have waited far longer than they ever should of had to wait. This thread is in the UK portal and even though it's title states it's for TSC that is somewhat beside the point and here is why... When he joined in on this thread it was after the bad news about the systems being down. He introduced himself and told his story about the baby, etc. You all welcomed him here. You made him feel safe and secure and that he was amongst fellow UK friends in the same boat. Some even said how their heart broke for him. Then for whatever reason his Visa gets issued abnormally quick even under normal times, but what ever that's not my point. My point is... He was giving you all a "Progress Report" that his status changed to "Issued". It was information and confirmation that our embassy was moving forward. You should be happy with the progress to know that yours too will be processed. The fact that it angers some that the embassy is processing out of order should be neither here nor there. No one can control or answer with any certainty how they go about the process. Therefore, even though you may be angry at the system. That's your entitlement how you handle emotions and keep them in check or not. But let's not lose focus that we all want to know what is happening and if progress is being made or not and the only way to get that information is to share information. If people get attacked on these threads then no one will be willing to update with information in fear that someone will come and belittle them.

Remember to be kind to people... Even if you feel like they aren't kind to you.

Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.

    Mark Twain

And I will whole heartedly 100% respectfully disagree with you. Don't come on here and try to judge me or anyone else. You just came on here to get up on your soap box and that's the last thing any of us need to hear today. We expressed an opinion. Last time I checked we have freedom of speech in our country. And plenty of people exercise that freedom all over this forum. So if you want to give a speech on proper behavior- I suggest you go into every single thread today and give your same speech you just gave to all of us. And if you had been more informed before posting that you would've recognized that the reason people are upset is not because of the embassy processing out of order- it's because he had a sticky note put on his file to expedite it. So although you may feel entitled to defend him for some reason- you really have no business coming on here and judging anyone... Ever hear the phrase people in glass houses? Right- so don't throw stones.
  3. We are told by every government agency throughout this whole process that there is no expediting of visa cases. Example- no one should get a sticky note on their case to move it to the front. The personal level is when you come onto a thread of people who have been waiting over 300 days seperated from their loved ones and essentially brag you've been issued your visa in front of all of them. So it is a little personal- yes. And it is absolutely wrong. This isn't about being frustrated- it's about being angry. And we're all angry right now.

  4. Please don't go  We are almost through this. Don't let the comments of a few detract from those who you are helping or the help that you can gain by shared experience.

Oh it wasn't just comments Trudie...it was actions taken against me for sticking up for someone being bullied on this site. I promise to keep in touch with you and Deborah through PM and anyone else who wants to keep in touch ? I just won't tolerate the negativity and hypocrisy displayed on this site. And don't bother standing up to those people because you will be penalized. I have too many good things going on in my life to be treated and spoken to like garbage on a blog site.

  5. Good luck to everyone on their journeys...for those who have been kind & helpful thank you and I wish nothing but the best for you. I can't tolerate the hypocrisy and belittling on this site anymore. I know for many of you this has been a great experience on here but for me it's been the opposite. I have tried to be helpful and kind to people on here but that gets you nowhere except being treated like a 5 year old and put on a "no help list". If you want to keep in touch I'll still be on PM, but I'm done posting. Take care and I hope you all receive approvals soon! ? xxx

Looks like this was an article from last week. It just says it was "updated June 22".. There has been many people posting that they are witnessing progress and some visas have been issued. I would not let that article lower our spirits !

    Agree 100%

  7. Yes. We submitted on the 6th of June.

Then I think you should be ok with still getting an appointment. We waited 7 1/2 weeks for our intrperbiew after his medical and that was without a glitch. Hopefully by the time you interview things will have cleared up....the back log is what I'm most worried about right now. Really it will depend on how fast they move those visas out after the system is up and running. Hoping you get some news soon....the unknown is the worst part.

  8. So you don't believe they'll be making any further appointments then?

....dear lord, I don't know how much more I can take.

I don't know how much more he can take either. He needs something to be hopeful and look forward to...

I have just been poking around twitter. Found a K1 that is wondering if appointment letters are still being sent out. The answer was, they are.

I may have missed this somewhere in another post but did you submit your DS-160 before Jube 9th?

  9. 25 people, a venue at her old college (Butler), nothing big or fancy at all, no bridesmaids, catered mostly by us, photography booked and payed for, my Dad and his wife coming from UK. Saturday 25th of July at 1pm.

Even though it sucks- if perchance you can't make it for the wedding- the upside is you haven't made any expensive down payments and could move the date if it came to that. Has you dad already booked his plane tickets? If not- I would try to ride this out & as you said- go home for good when you do. Then you won't have to think about leaving your fiancée again. That's become a mantra for me...once he's here he's here to stay ?

  10. I can understand why urgent medical & humanitarian cases are being prioritized...I do not understand why H2A agricultural (a.k.a. Migrant) cases are being prioritized. How are those visas more important than any other citizen who are unable to get back to their jobs- unable to get to a new job offer they have- etc, etc. Or why they're more important than ANY other pending visas period. I love how our government prioritizes things.

  11. I've told myself i have to stop reading about the delays, its only going to make me feel worse. Just focusing on Monday and my interview and getting approved (Which im sure i will get approved), then just the limbo wait from there. Theres very little me, or any of us can do. Just have to hope on Monday they listen to what i have coming up in July, and give me some hope.

Thats what i need more than anything right now, hope.

My heart really does break for you & your fiancé. I do have faith that you will make it for your wedding- but I cannot imagine having to go through a pregnancy without my fiancé. As bad as I feel- I know this had to be a living hell for you both right now.
