Yes, we sent it on the 1st, but that was a saturday! It got there on the 3rd (monday) and they scanned it in on the 4th. I never got an email like a lot of other people did that they received it so I called twice to make sure they got it and I was told that the scan date was the 4th!

OMG! I just checked and I have 3 N/As! Scan date Nov 4th! I hope this is real! Of course NVC is closed already so I have to wait to call till they open!

You probably will get the email in the next few weeks, I believe early Sept a bunch of people got the 60 day email a month after scan date... If the already confirm with you the scan date as 11/4 you are good just count 60 days from that date... I'm on my 50th day today waiting for a cc on a AOS checklist

I think everyone gets that email, some people later than others. When you call NVC did they confirm your email?

Yes, they have my husbands and my own on file.

I see a lot of people on here getting the "60 day email"! My scan date is 11/04 (which I found out by calling NVC) but so far I did not receive an email! Does everyone get an email like that or did I not get one since they already told me on the phone about when they received our documents and about the 60 days they need to review it?

Yes ~ I just tried and they're not accepting calls. I thought the holiday was tomorrow "Veterans Day" Nov. 11th. But as of 10:30 pm east coast time they are not accepting calls. I only have one simple question and I'm really hoping someone can help us. I've found info to send our two packs IV & AOS together to two different addresses. The main NVC website says Att: DR.... the DS260 form info says to send packs to Att: CMR/DR.

I am a little confused about the scan date! Do I have to call NVC for that or will they send an email?

When I left the USA in 2012, I didn't realize the rule about "abandonment" if you leave for over a year. So I sent in my old green card to apply for a new one just recently. Has anyone else done this?

Would the fact that I had one previously, possibly speed things up a bit? Obviously, if I already was approved the 1st time, how long would it take to do it a 2nd? Married to the very same man as the first time, with kids now.

I already have a SSN and an A# which I also included in the i-130 form. I don't even have a parking ticket on my 12 year long record in the US.

Hi there! I also had to give up my US green card after moving back to Germany! I married my US husband in 1997, got a CR-1 visa and moved to the US. After 10 years we moved back to Germany. We are currently in the process of getting the IR-1 visa. My husband (also same one as first time ) and our kids are back in the US already waiting for me! Unfortunately I have to say that so far nothing was quicker because of the fact that I already had a green card! Neither USCIS nor NVC care about that! You can look at my timeline and you will see! When we first started this process we also thought it would be quick because after all I had lived there for 10 years, had a green card, had kids, never been in the trouble with the law (no parking ticket either )......! What were we thinking???? It's been more than 7 months now since we started this whole thing! I remember the first time around it was a lot quicker! But there is absolutely nothing we can do! Except be patient!

For those of you who have waited until both your bills (AOS & IV) showed as paid and then sent out both your packs... Did your Cover sheet for the IV look any different than your coversheet for the AOS or did they both say ATT: CMR AOS. We're ready to send our packs, we were going to today with two Att: CMR AOS coversheets (one for each pack) but then our IV bill came available to pay this morning. If I wait until IV shows as paid what will that document coversheet say then? Help from those who have gone before me much appreciated!

The Document Cover Sheet for the IV says mail to:

I pay my AOS fee oct20 and it says paid and the IV fee says Pay Now when I press it it says $0.00 should I wait or should I call them???

We paid the AOS fee on Oct. 23rd and we got the same thing where it would say Pay Now and the amount said $0,00. I just kept checking every day till it didn't say $0,00 anymore but $325,00 instead and then we were able to pay it. Like I said in our case it took a week. I really don't know how long it usually takes or what the NVC says on how long it can take (they will probably tell you 30 days since that's their standard answer )

I'm trying to figure out when will I be able to pay the IV fee and when will I be able to fill out the DS-260 I already pay for the AOS fee but still haven't sent out the paperwork because I'm waiting on my husbands paperwork from Dominican republic can any of you help me please I'm so stress ?????

We got the IV bill a week after paying the aos fee. Once we paid the IV fee it took a day for it to show as paid and I was able to do the DS-260 the same day.

The new process say you'll need to send both together. It anyways dont get reviewed before theire get all your documents.

Btw im still waiting for my NVC #. Got the NOA 2 end of August but Nebraska had to wait 4 weeks until theire send it out. Hopefully we get the number tomorrow and can catch up some time. I need to be over there next April and really get scared about this timeline.

Hi! I just saw that NVC received your case the same day as mine! I just got my number this week so hopefully you'll get yours any day now! Btw: Vermont Service Center also took a very long time to send my file to NVC! 5 weeks! Very frustrating!

I only have cas number and IIN number only..

Where cann i getthe beneficiary id #?

Hi! I just did the DS-261 yesterday and I did not need the beneficiary ID! Just the case number and invoice number! But when I called NVC for my case number I also asked for the beneficiary ID and they told me! I don't know if we will need it along the way, so I just asked for it! But for the DS-261 I did not need it!

After calling 10times and being on hold for 30minutes I finally got through and I finally have a case number Whoohoo now praying to God this process goes smoothly...

Keep calling, yours could be any day.. I honestly didn't expect to get case number when I called. I was really surprised. I didn't get any emails. They said they had just assigned it. Now im scrambling to put all my papers in order so I will be ready to ship them as soon as the fees are paid.

I just called NVC and I now have a case number!!! They just assigned it today!! Exactly 2 weeks! They told me 42 days, I am soooooo relieved!!! I know some of you had your case received a few days around mine, so I wanted to be sure to update. WooooHoooo!!! oh and my case was received oct 2nd. Tavotevi I hope you are calling them now! you could have yours too!

Yes! I called there at least once a week! And now I will have to keep calling to get the case number! This is no fun
