Finally my status online is showing my interview is booked .. but I can’t see the date yet. How long in advance do they usually book you interview from letter .

I applied for my removal of conditions in sept 2017 and applied for my N400 in sept 2018 and still waiting ... who else is in the same boat?

I got the same notification too! Transferred   December 21, 2018 & I filed my N400 on September 21,2018. Receipt # WAC1735. Also sent to MIssouri.

Yeah it’s Dallas,TX.. I just can’t believe we are looking at 26 months. I take it we are probably some of the longest wait times 

I applied for my N400 On Sept 21 and it is showing an estimated completion of 26 months. anyone else showing that long as well?

I read on October 2017 filers section where someone mentioned that CSC moved some i-751 cases to Nabarska/Texas centre cos of the backlogs and that some new officers were recruited early this year and just got out of training ... I DON’T KNOW HOW TRUE THIS IS SINCE HE DIDN’T PROVIDE ANY EVIDENCE.

 

however, if that information is real, then probably your case is one of those transferred.

I got the same update at the end of February ! They sent my case to the local office too.

same with me, it said on Feb 26, 2018 my case was received at my local office. Anyone know what that means? 

I actually work for a company as an hr supervisor and they can accept that letter as proof.  I am actually doing training with someone from uscis on the12th just to double check as to why that would happen .

Hey guys!

so I received my green card yesterday and I went today to the SS office to apply for my SSN and they informed me that they had to verify my documents before issuing my card.

there is a paragraph there that says:

If you are not a us citizen and you are applying for a social security number card for employment purposes and your immigration status allows you to work, you may legally begin employment while you await on issuance of a social security card. You cannot work if your immigration status does not authorize you to do so.

obviously having a green card I am able to work, and I just received a possible job offer.. so my question is am I really able to work if I provide this letter and my proof of immigration??

I called the ss office and they were like if the company want to take you then they can take you...

So this morning I got the following notification :

we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status..

It's weird cause I thought we would have a interview?? Has anyone else got approved without a interview .. And what should I expect next ??

it takes about a day or two for them to get back to you. it took them about 48 hours to get back to me.

we had a ceremony in the USA... and it was not legally binding. Our officiator knows our case and what was going on. and it took so long cause there was many screw ups and long wait times from the texas service center.,.. when i went to my interview yesterday.. they actually said that is super embarrassing how long this all took and screw up's shouldn't be happening like that.

actually this is what i did.. cause our whole process took 1 year and 7 months and we had our wedding paid and planned for sept 5 and i just got approved yesterday. so we had a wedding we just didn't make it legal. Our lawyer said as long as you don't make it legally binding and the officiator is OK with it.

So I have my interview next Tuesday in Vancouver and I wanted to know if anyone has left the day after they received their passport back? I want to leave for Texas asap and am planning to leave thru Vancouver airport!

Hey guys! I swear we did everything! We contacted our congresswomen .. Called uscis.. Our lawyer even put in inquires. We applied March 2014 and didn't get approved until the following March! It has taken 1 yr and 7 months and I am just having my interview here next week! I would just keep bugging everyone !! I swear it's really just luck of the draw !

so we finally have our interview booked for Oct 6.2015 and i had gotten a police clearance done in jan ( our lawyer suggested to be proactive) .. but due to ALOT of screw ups at NVC... it has been over 6 months... so is it good for 6 months or a year.. i just want to know if i need to get a new one.

Yup I have also talked to a supervisor and NVC research contacted me and said they have not clue where it is and they will try and contact uscis to locate it. But still nothing! I even contact ombudsman .

Yeah it expired July first and they had re approve us cause it was their screw up. But that one seems to be lost now. The immigration officer was like oh you will have your visa way before no worries . It's crazy cause my friend used the same lawyer and she lives in the same place and she just went and got married instead and she was all done in like. 3 months! It makes no sense. Yes I contact our senator and she won't return calls and was no use . But I don't get how it's been a year and a half
