The guy sitting next to me at my oath ceremony yesterday had lost his green card. USCIS had given him a form to bring in place of the GC. I heard him mention that he'd reported it stolen/lost to USCIS, so I'd assume there's some way to notify them that it's missing.

Go get a stamp. sensible to have proof of status (which the receipt/extension letter by itself is technically not)
Nothing. You can't provide what you don't have, and it won't affect the oath ceremony.
Many peoples 2yr cards are retained the first time they obtain an I-551 stamp at an infopass, so many are in the same situation of not having a physical card to hand in. Are they all denied on the day of the oath ? No.

do you have a copy front and back of your GC? you will need to submit a copy of your card to be able to file for citizenship
