It's up to a Tier 2 Immigration Officer to stamp a passport., not up to "biometric" people. So just try to make an InfoPass appointment at the same day as your Bio.

Also, you should make a copy of your green card, just in case if it's kept "in exchange" for a stamp. Sometimes they do keep a green card, sometimes they don't. But you'll know at the moment they stamp the passport :)

P.S. We had to get my son's passport stamped - his NOA1 has never arrived.. . Looks good, btw :):)

    Good luck!

    Thank you for your answer!

It does not look good for me, here's what turned out -> My biometrics app is in St Louis but my USCIS local office is in Kansas City, so I will have to make an extra trip cuz someone lost my letter! :crying:

  2. Yes, I would say it really depends on who you are talking to. We called few days ago to have our Ds 261 reviewed but although repo was really nice he refused to review it and told us to wait 30 days. We took advice from VJ and called again and we got it reviewed just yesterday :D so don't give up, call and be polite but persistent and if that doesn't work, hang up and call again until you get what you want ;)

  3. I have another question (I know I am so lost  )... We have to include in our packages a request for update because last name of beneficiary changed. So we were thinking of listing it in our AOS Cover Letter and just putting it in that package (seems to prevent from getting lost) or - the second option - placing it on top of our two packages. What is better and make it less confusing for NVC people? :)

The expiration date you see is the expiration of the comment period to the Office of Management and Budget, the form itself does not expire and can be used.

    Thanks !

  4. hey,

my case has been sent to NVC on March 20 and we called NVC yesterday and they haven't received it yet. Should I be getting worried? It's been 2 weeks in transit... :help:

Suprise! NVC got our case yesterday and already assigned Case # and IIN :D :D :D I am so happy ! :dancing:

I also went to USCIS website to get new I864 form because the one I had expired on 03/31/2015 but there is no new form avaliable... should I use the old one ?

  5. Agnik not always they update the website so I suggest u to call NVC to see if they already received ur case. I think they already did.

USCIS sent my case to NVC on March 20 and NVC have not received it yet - we called NVC yesterday. I just hope it didn't got lost in transit :( ...so I assume unfortunately they did not receive your case either but who knows ;)

    Please help with any guidance

I have placed a SR on 03/18, that was assigned on 03/23

I called in on Tuesday and was told that my target date in 04/02, and that if nothing happened by then to call in , so I called today

Today, the tier2 rep basically almost hang up and said that target date is an approximate date and that there is nothing I can do.

I am calling back, but am hoping any of you might have any insights or guidance?

    Thank you!

have you contacted your senator or congressman ?
