  1. Ugh, I'm so

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I really hope it gets sent soon.

I agree with Ethline- see if your Congressional office can make an inquiry for you, maybe they will get a more direct answer...

Yeah. I just have no energy or hope. I can barely take care of myself let alone construct a decent letter for a congressman or put any more false hope into anything else. Because of all of this stress we are fighting pretty badly. He is currently not talking to me, but I'm certain its my fault for taking all of my emotions out on him. Nonetheless he's not there for me through this right now. I'm struggling badly at work, I'm late everyday. I can't fall asleep until late, then I oversleep and getting out of bed is virtually impossible. I am neglecting my dog. I'm crying uncontrollably as I write this. I don't know what to do.

  2. I called again this morning, and got a rude customer service representative. Today I was told "Your case is undergoing administrative processing. Unfortunately there is no timeline I can give you. You will be notified when the case is sent to the consulate."

SERIOUSLY? What is wrong that my case is stuck in administrative processing at NVC while others are breezing by me? I can't F****ING take this anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. What? Are you serious. I honestly thought that you just hadn't updated you account. I'm so sorry to hear this. I am over here going crazy out of my mind today is my birthday and it kills me that 207 days after filling my petition I am still without my love. I know I should feel grateful that I am at least out of TSC but in a way it's very little comfort. I mean those that file in California in December and January of this year are with there love ones already. I know very well there's still plenty of people who filed before me that are still waiting to get out of TSC and I just feel sick to my stomach about it but still I am so frustrated today.

    I'm serious. :(

I've called every business day since the 10th - the date the case numbers were assigned - and they keep telling me a variety of things:

"Just waiting to be sent out."

    "Still undergoing administrative processing."

"It should be sent soon, we don't process them here so they are sent out pretty quickly."

"Please allow two weeks from the date we assigned the case numbers."

"Call back Friday, it should be on it's way soon."

I feel your frustration Ethline, I really do. Everything about my process from NOA2 has taken so much longer than others, that it's hard to not worry about what's holding it up. Or whether it will get lost or something. My anxiety and depression because of this is becoming unbearable. 222 days of this and seems like many more to come.

    AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ETHLINE! (L):dancing:

  4. OK great do you have a case number assigned yet. I was thinking about calling but mines went out two days later so I doubt they have it.

The woman I spoke to told me I could call back in a week for case numbers. She said they assign K1 case numbers pretty quickly (1-2 weeks) and send them out to the consulate after that.

    I think I'll call back Friday. :)

You should try calling by the end of this week -- maybe it will have been received!

  5. Thanks for starting this! I tried to start this a few weeks ago, but there weren't any Sept. TSC's except for me and a couple of others.

    Here's my update:

    NOA2: March 20th

    Sent to NVC: April 1st

NVC has not received the petition. I called for the 2nd time today and I was told to wait 35 days. I'm going to call every week.

Just to confirm: after NVC receives it, the three numbers we need are:

    1. Case number

    2. Invoice number

    3. Beneficiary ID number

I want this to move FASTER already!

  6. Ahhh - I think I am one of the people who isn't getting the notificiation? Grrrr! I would have thought with an NOA2 of 3/20 I would have had a status change by now. :( What could be holding up my petition being sent to NVC?

    More worries. I hate it.

This morning I received 3 text messages from 1:30am to 2:30am every 30 mins and an email at 4am telling me my case has been sent to NVC!

    YAY!

  7. Hi, yes we did. It went to William and I believe it was a text, followed by an email advising of an update in the status of our case, which he then checked online. The case status changed from "My case was approved...." to "My case has been sent ...." Something along those lines. Apparently some people don't get the notification, despite having signed up for it. It may be worth monitoring your case status online.

  8. We also called today, after 56 unsuccessful attempts to get through on Friday night. We got the same information - give it 35 days. So we will be calling again tomorrow. Strangely, today the call went through in about 10 attempts and hold time was 1.16 minutes.

Our case was shipped quite quickly out of the service center. Hoping it doesn't take them too long to assign a case number so we can get moving. The agent I spoke to was extremely friendly, though. It seems that it takes 12-14 days to ship the approved petitions out, going by other timelines. We just assumed we were lucky (or that TSC just knew we couldn't wait to get the hell out of there).

    Hi wbeem,

Did you receive a notice from USCIS that the case was shipped from TSC to NVC? In what form - letter, email?

    Thanks!
