  1. Hi everyone :)

I am an August 2014 filer too! Joining the club a bit late though. :content: There is another August AOS 2014 group floating about on VJ and I am a part of that.

So, below is my timeline if you want to know where my case stands right now.

I do have one concern: my local office is unfortunately Dallas, TX and they are so backed up right now that they are processing I485 for October,2013 currently!

My USC husband is a military member and currently deployed overseas. I can join him provided I have my green card. I am so anxious right now and would be so mad if it takes a year for me to get my green card.

Hopefully things change with Dallas soon.

Any Dallas AOS filers on here other than me?

Wishing everyone the best on their process!

    Welcome!!!

  2. Ok, so I got the darn pink letter (RFE).

They are asking for the Tax Returns and W-2s from my Wife(petitioner) and her father (Co-sponsor/household member).

Which I'm 110% sure I sent, but I've heard from other people that sometimes they do loose some papers or sometime they just don't see it on the ocean of paperwork. Whatever.. I'm just gonna get all the copies again and send it. :protest:

Bummer! At least you now know exactly what they need. Send them ASAP so you can get back on track.

    Good luck!

  3. Came home from lunch to find out I had received my Biometrics Appt. letter in the mail.. Yeaayy :dancing:

    Scheduled for 09/18.

Gonna call the office to find out about "walk ins"

The office, btw is the Lawrence, Ma one.. which I'm trying to get a Admin to add to the profile set up page.. I can only choose Boston, Ma..

Yay!! Congrats. Such a great feeling I bet. I got my NOA in the mail too. Good luck! Hope you are able to walk in

I got the NOA hard copy in the mail!!! Yay! Waiting for biometrics letter now.

  4. Endofitness, everyone's cases go to the NBC first. Once you get your NOA's in the mail, check your status online. It will show to which service center your case was sent to. Mine was sent to Nebraska Service Center (from what I've read here on VJ, they are very slow). It will be interesting to hear where everyone's cases are going, so let us know!

Thank you for the info. I will check online once I get the hard copy. Good luck with biometrics next week.
