Hello, my wife got her GC February 2019 and expires February 2021. She came on the K1 visa.

I am confused whether she is a conditional permanent resident or Permanent resident. The card itself says Permanent resident.

Can someone please tell us how to renew? Will we have to pay a fee again?

Also, to complicate matters, I lost my job last month... will this create a problem?

Just to clarify, she didn't list it as a common law marriage, the agency did.

They are worried she will not be granted a tourist visa. Facts:

1. She is currently unemployed.

2. She owns an apartment.

3. She owns a car.

I know a couple that has met twice and intend to apply for K1.

He is in U.S and her in Russia. She applied for tourist visa B1 through an agency, they advised her not to say she has a boyfriend in U.S. and indicated on the application that she had a russian boyfriend. Under marital status, it

says common law marriage. When I learned of this, I became worried that this could be a problem when they apply for K1.

We got our visa less than a week after submitting the police check. Your mileage may vary.

We were looking into sending some of my fiances belongings from Ukraine to the US and the fedex and DHL prices were over 1000 dollars for a 50 lb. box. Has anyone found a better/cheaper method to ship packages?

We reached the embassy February 26th but haven't heard anything from the embassy yet.

Arrived at embassy this morning. I think we are finally out of the black hole!

checked our nvc status tonight, in transit! Yes!

Tonight was a good night, a very good night. Just called and NVC has received!

Approval date was October 22nd. Be persistent Folks, your day is coming!

Received ammended noa2 in the mail tonight. Dated Feb 5th, original noa2 was oct 22nd. I think it's their way of resetting things and trying again, let's not screw it up this time, Uscis!

Received this, does this mean it goes back to square 1? - or is this a good sign? - It was already approved Oct. 22nd but never arrived at the NVC.

Can you not do that? That messes up the statistics for all of us stuck in Texas Service Center hell!

Not really... as I remember I had to adjust the day by one day. I don't think it will have a significant affect on the stats. It was just somethimg odd I noticed when trying to fill out my timeline.

The system error checker is flawed. It states the time from noa2 to nvc receipt is too long.

I also ran into a bug in timeline but did the best I could to keep it accurate. Had to fudge my service centers. I am csc though. Have a good weekend, everyone.
