Got this same email 30 minutes after interview. Interview experience details below.
I am expecting to receive this email later today.
INTERVIEW REVIEW:
All -
I interviewed earlier this morning. I am not going to go into too much detail as my interview went pretty much as others in the forum have described their interview. Full disclosure, I submitted the I-130 & I-485 separately and had been previously interviewed on the I-130, there is a nine year age difference between my wife and I. All the marriage related questions were asked then to prove bonafide marriage. Nothing out of the ordinary from what others in this thread have posted, (how did you meet? has your spouse been married before? Show a couple of pictures here and there, some bills, bank statements, etc.) It took 15 minutes. This was in 2014.
Today's interview was even shorter. The officer asked for my passport and said the interview was just for her benefit. She wanted to know that i exist. She updated a few things on her computer and sent me on my way. She presented me with a notice that said the case was being held for review and i should wait at least 120 days before inquiring if I hadn't heard from USCIS. I believe user EandM here on the forum posted something very similar to this. 30 minutes later, i received the "card in production" email. In regards as to why USCIS does this, my attorney says that USCIS is not stamping passports in interviews anymore, officers are then instructed to state final communication will come via mail even if they have approved the case on the spot.
I'll be applying for citizenship in three years to vote Trump out of the White House. To any Trump supporters, i apologize, this is just my opinion. This forum has been a wealth of information, this thread even more so. I wanted to share my experiences in hopes of benefiting others as i have benefited from everyone's posts here. Many thanks!
