  1. Now that you have your visa you need to take your certificate from the CFO seminar along with your passport back to CFO to have the sticker affixed.

At POE they will want to see your visa and you hand them the DO NOT OPEN envelope

    Thanks Hank!!

What are the next steps in Visa Processing when I enter US?

  2. Dont be sad, just keep checking status, it will soon show ISSUED. Once it shows issued. Your visa is in final processing you should get your passport in a couple of days.

Yeah, time to call the embassy and figure out why it's beyond 10 days.

"If you have not received your passport in more than 10 days after your interview, please contact the Embassy call center at (02) 982-5555 and (02) 902-8930, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to track the delivery of your passport."

I just got an update :D

    Its ISSUED!

  3. I got an update yay! :D

  4. What's your status on the CEAC website? Issued?

no ma'am... its still READY. last update was Sept 17 :(

It's been two weeks since my interview date I still haven't received any confirmation from the courier (2GO Ayala) since it is for pick up. According to travel.state.gov the visa status should be available online 7-10 days, mine is more than the time frame. I also checked at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ the Document Delivery Information at my dashboard is blank but the first week after my interview it says Your Passport is still at US Embassy. I also sent an email at passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com ... they replied There is no status update available for the passport number submitted. Again..the first week after my interview it says Your Passport is still at US Embassy. Checked at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp same message There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.

  5. Cover your receipt number... Thats private..

I guess you are looking at your I-797, Thats NOA 2.

Look for I-797C... The first notice your fiance received.. The one with C.

the first notice was done through txt msg sis... no hard copy received :(

  6. I don't know how it is done in Philippine, but for China, my fiancee had to go to a designated bank to make

the $240 payment and they gave her a receipt number, then the next day I went into the system from US

to enter the receipt number, but it automatically showed up...so there could be some time lag on

when the receipt number gets fed into the system.

So did you pay online directly, or did you go somewhere to pay and they gave you the receipt number?

If they gave you the number, I recall on the screen you could just manually enter it.

It seems like you are getting that message for one of 2 reasons:

    1. Your receipt number has not be entered correctly (or system hasn't processed yet to pick it up yet).

    2. Or you entered your case number wrong.

I believe until the receipt number is registered to the system, the system also didn't allow us to

    make the appointment.

Payment done at the bank. I've also received a receipt no but the system does not accept it. I'm so stressed right now... Do I have to wait until tom. to check again?
