The I9 asks for your current immigration status.

No worries it usually takes anywhere from 4-8 days before everything is logged in the system and you get your NOA1.

If they just recieved it this Monday you should probably receive your NOA1 by the end of this week.

I Am considering submitting an expedite request (fináncial hardship) to NVC.

Nvc has received my package from USCIS on 11/25. Case number has not been assigned yet.

Is The expedite request submitted after i have a case number? Or do i have to assign an agent, Pay AOS, before submitting The request?

Although it is better to have a NVC case number it is not absolutely necessary.

On the expedite request they do tell you to include the USCIC case number so that should suffice in regards to submitting the expedite to the NVC.

Hopefully your wife answered question #16 honestly on the I130.

It could turn into a bigger problem for both of you if she didnt.

Called NVC to get case number. Each time i call i'm on hold for at least 30 minutes, even when i call them the minute they open. When customer service asked me for my receipt number i put her on hold for 5 minutes and played this song,

when i got back with the receipt number 5 minutes later i can tell from her voice she knew i was trolling. anyway she told me that NVC received my case on October 26 and that i needed to wait at least 35 days. that's kinda news to me cause when i first called, NVC told me they received my case on the 31st of October. The 31st of October falls on a weekend so i think October 26th seems like the more accurate date.

I don't think it is wise for you to do anything to annoy anyone in that office with any of your antics.

You are very early in your case and not saying it will happen, but some of your papers can easily be "not received" , or flat out lost.

Well her son is not a immigrant as he has a US passport. The I864 refers to the immigrating (beneficiary) person.

I understand your concerns. But how does that go when someone qualifies on their income, what if their immigrant partner that they got abroad gets sick? How will they pay for it?

Petitioners do not go into the process blindly on a wing and a prayer.

This is a long term plan that needs to be well thought out and planned.

Plain and simple either you meet the requirements or you dont!

I am from Holland and my fiancee is american. He has a ssdi income, he is disabled, and he does not meet the minimum financial requirement to get me to America. He makes around 14,000$ per year on income. We do not have anybody who can sponsor us. Or they do not want to, and the ones who want to do not have enough income or got laid off. What else can we do? We also have no assets or anything we can turn into money. I am looking for a solution, i want to marry my fiancee and stay with him forever. My brain is getting empty by all the dissapointment. Who can and wants to help me? And another question, what is the difference between a co-sponsor and a joint sponsor?

okay, what if he is garnished? is our option to find a sponsor no an option anymore to qualify? i can tell y that important mail like jis yearly annual income never comes in his mail. all important mail is not deliverd or taken, he only gets commercial mail and newspapers, can his ex have him garnished without him knowing?

How about asking him if he is being garnished?, how bout asking him if he is on medicaid?

They wife did not have him garnished. The state or treasury department enforces a court order that he fell behind on.

If your being garnished you know your being garnished, if his SSDI is being offset (garnished) then he has a considerable arrears amount in child support owed.

Usually but not in all cases SSDI goes hand in hand with medicaid.

I gave you little information.I did not just find info now, i have been for at least a year now. You have a right to your opinion. I know finance is important. I can tell you that it is alright to give your opinion, but you do not have to be so blunt about it. I can tell you from my experience i know what poverty is, if there is a person who knows what it is, to live in poverty, what hunger feels like, what having no home feels like etc then it is me. We had to live on 400$ per month with 8 people! I know the importance of having money to pay rent, bills etc. I have a brain and i am not looking for a quick solution. I am asking for the possibilities. And like you can not pay anything with love, you are right. But only having money does not let you keep a relationship either. Don't be one of those people to judge a book by it's cover, and do not be the person that judges that same book by it's cover. or that same book based on it's first page, and with that i mean the info you know about me, from what i said in here. I know quite well how the world works.

Because I am still living with my ex wife and I am going to travel overseas assuming everything from NOA2 on will be and can be done online, then I heard the NVC welcome letter will be coming in via snail mail, I don't want my ex wife opening it and do something about it, but if the welcome letter is via email, then there's no problem.

He is not yet 60 years old thats why he havent been receiving his retirement pay yet but only from his monthly disability pay and SSI pay...

based on his VA compensation rating and percentage he was awarded this may be enough to cover the requirement. He would have to supply a copy of his AB8 letter that he can retrieve from the VA ebenefits website.

I have one concern, since my Fiancee USC is now preparing documents for interview and one document thats needed is an employment certificate. My concern is this, his income mainly comes from his monthly disability pay from his service in Navy and military for 23 years and from social security which makes an income of more than $30t a year. He only have a part time job which is not regular. Will that be a reason for the consulate not to grant me a fiancee visa?

Your estimate of his pay is either a typo by you or your not getting the whole story...a retired military person with pension, va disability and SSI makes waaayyyyyyyyy more than 30K a year!

I did and it says the case is in AP, and if the visa gets approved it will be 2-3 business days and that was updated Nov 5th. So it's not very helpful.

With the holiday this week , you should hear something this week or no later than mid next week.

The status will go back to Ready then back to AP then issued....hopefully you will see this between today and early next week

Have you checked you status on the CEAC website? Checking there will give you a better idea of what is going on.

I had an interview for my spouse's I130 in Santo Domingo DR, in July 2013, The consulate official denied visa issuance. After a long drawn out correspondence with the USCIS, An Appeal was filed in August 2014. which was approved in May of 2015 and forwarded back to the NVC. It is now November and the case has not been sent back to Santo Domingo for my spouses interview. The NVC is stating that the case is in administrative processing. What can I do?

It wont make the AP move any faster, but you can contact your local senator for assistance. They all have special units that deal with immigration and have contacts within the individual embassies that they deal with.

They usually respond to the congressional inquiries
