Today, it has been 2 weeks since we received our NOA2. We still have not gotten a notification to say that our case has been sent to NVC
-
As online case statuses do not seem to get updated these days I'd recommend you guys to call NVC during next week to see if your case is there and/or call USCIC to see if your case has shipped. Have you gotten your NOA-2 hardcopy?
Thank you! Yes we received our NOA-2 hardcopy early last week. Our online notification for the approval was Feb 4th.

It's been 12 days since our NOA2.... we have not yet received any notification to say if it has been sent to NVC. How long does that usually take??
I'm getting worried...... again.

"Important Notice: Due to extremely hazardous weather conditions, the National Visa Center is scheduled to open at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015. Please check back for updates as we track the weather conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience."
From the NVC website
I'm glad that they're opening at least!! Even if it is late

Congratulations! Everything should be going faster by now!
You should give a call to NVC in a week or two so you can get your new case number.
In the mean time you can gather all your documents, it takes time!
Thank you!!!

Congrats!
Here's the thread for you now. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/532905-tsc-july-2014-filers-noa2-approvals/page-5#entry7462244
Plus this guide http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide gets you started identifying what you need to pull together for the consulate/interview sage.
Also important to subscribe (if you haven't already) and read up on the requirements of the consulate that will process the K1 - there can be consulate specific requirements.
Good luck moving forward.
Thank you!!!!!

Good morning all!!!!
Last night I woke up to find an email from USCIS!!!! WE WERE FINALLY APPROVED!!!!!
I'm sooo excited that I don't know what to do with myself lol.
Our NOA1 - July 10, 2014. Our NOA2 - February 4, 2015.
Better late than never!!!
I still can't believe it! I had given up hope but now we need to start getting things in order.
If anyone has any advice on what we need to do next, please let me know!

Well just got off the phone with the Tier 2, Mrs George, she was extremely nice but could only tell me Tx is working on May 6th 2014 and that they are -62 days behind, so my request of inquiry for our petition would be denied since the service center is still so behind, they wont even look. Jan 7th will be our 6 months of not hearing a single word. No ARN change no RFE no NOA2 .... Im so upset and practically in tears explaining our conversation to my fiance... such a disappointing call. Although she was incredibly nice and understanding, she told me nothing that the Tier 1 agent told me....
Thank you for the update!!! We need a miracle!! I'm a little confused though because the USCIS website (the processing times section) says the same thing about TSC processing petitions from May 6th 2014. However that information was provided on October 31st 2014. So is it any way possible that they're giving us old information??
-
I am a little confused though. The USCIS website also lists May 2014 for the paperwork currently being processed. However, that information hasn't been updated since 31 October 2014...
-
So I just called the customer service center. Apparently since I am only the beneficiary, I am not allowed to be transferred to speak to a Tier 2 officer.
In any case, our i129F was received by USCIS on July 10th according to the website. At this point, it has been well past our processing time of 5.9 months. Today is 6 months and 8 days I think. I am sitting here in tears because the officer could only tell me that TSC is still processing paperwork from May 2014.
I'm not even sure what to do at this point. My fiance and I planned our wedding for early April. I'm tired of being without him...... and now it looks as if we'll have to push our date back. I'm completely discouraged and outraged.
-
I just got the same email and the site says case updated today, but no new info.
Fingers crossed and thumbs pressed!
YAY!!!
-
BTW our NOA1 was July 16th
-
Just got an email about 30 mins ago pretty much telling us that our case is still in initial review. I logged in on the USCIS website and saw that our last updated date is today!! We were super disappointed that it wasn't our approval, but at least someone is looking at it. I'm glad that something is happening... We can only hope that our approval is coming shortly!!! Stay encouraged guys!!
BTW our NOA1 was July 16th
-
We got approved !!!! Our NOA1 was July 7, we were approved on November 7 !
Congrats!!!! This gives me some hope!! Our NOA1 was July 16, so hopefully we're not too far behind! All the best to you guys
-
This is very encouraging! I hope that they continue to pick up the pace. My fiance filed for me in July (TSC), so we may (or hopefully may NOT) have a bit of a wait ahead of us.
-
Congrats! That's awesome to hear!
I'm a newbie to all of this. My fiance (the petitioner) sent our paperwork to the lockbox on July 7th and received the NOA1 on the 15th.
Now for the waiting game!
