    Immigration guys should just charge a few bucks extra, hire more people and get things moving a bit faster. We are all just getting old here waiting waiting and waiting to start that life.......Le Sigh!

    It has nth to do with Oct VB but i believe DOS will let all 2012 filers through one and for all and with the start of new fiscal year new visa numbers will be available and with no 2012 filers are left , they will make it for 2013 filers.

    More or less, although for Sept 2014 VB it will move to OCT 2012 (not sure of the exact cut-off day). Its really difficult to predict. It may be sooner or later.

    Yes, your case is completed since 5th June and you have to wait for your interview to get scheduled. I am not sure about the timeline, but if your PD is current it should not require 8 months. It will take 1-2 months generally if the PD is current.
