Use the 1st form. It really depends on the consulate if they will give you the extension. There is no expedite on the passport because they send it to the Philippines for production and send it back here that's what they told me. Do you have flight itinerary?

Hi, I didn't purchase ticket because I'm worrying about the passport expiration but since u can get extension hopefully (they'll approve it ).  I will ask them too if it's okay I'll just renew in Philippines.

What embassy are you going? New York Or Washington DC? I went to New York we called them first to make sure they are open, No appointment needed. The processing is easy just bring copy of your passport where you see all your information. I suggest download form online $60 for renewal 6-8 weeks processing.

Hi yea I'm going to newvyirk embassy, u think they will allow me to have an extension? Bc my reason will be a family reunion for the first time. And do they any options to make it for faster delivery ?

Went to Philippine Embassy in New York, renew my passport and request for extension with my flight itinerary. Filled out form "request for extension" then provide them with valid reason why you are applying for extension. Hope for the best the Philippine consulate will decide if they will give you extension or not.

Hi how did you get a passport extension and where? I am planning to go on vacay too in April 3rd but my passport will expire in July and it says it needs atleast 6 months to renew and I'm going to renew in march 1st week but it will not be on time til I receive the new one or else I might have a problem at the airport(maybe)

Hi everyone! I'm going to go home in Philippines around April and my passport will expire in July I'm just wondering if I am allowed to travel or I need to wait for the renewal? Some kabayan said it gonna take a while before I will receive the new one. Help please...

They still accept walk in but some were lucky to get the slot same day but some had to schedule appointment first (CFO officer will do the scheduling) as what they said better to schedule before going, u can go even 5am,after u fill out the forms at 3rd floor room they will tell u to come back at 9am for the seminar to start.

Had a friend went to CFO around 6:30am and she still number 3 in line. Set around Wednesday to Friday less people.

If traveling back to Philippines just the green card and new passport is needed in both airports? (Phil and U.S. )

No they will not move the visa and CFO from the old passport, they will return the old passport when they send you your new passport. BTW the visa and CFO sticker are not needed anymore you have your green card.

I would recommend you to stay at lotus garden hotel it's near at airport and easy to get taxi, safe and affordable too

It takes 4-5weeks from the date after interview, and about the interview the consul will just ask u and ur husband how ur relationship goes,how u guys meet.

Yea just tell the immigration officer at ur POE that u change the address that's what I did.

My husband's bank is USAA also and that's what they told my hubby that I wait for my green card first, thank you Rissa!

In my situation my husband add me to his bank account which is a USAA bank and make my own bank account,they need my passport,ss number and green card, we just applied online and just asked me some question about my identity. And the American Express they also need same ids.

What's bank are u applying? Every bank is different

Yea ur son does not a vaccination with U.S. passport , in my situation my daughter (U.S. Citizen) she got shots here in the U.S.
