  1. Hey guys! Been a long time!!

Been out of forum since I started working then had our Honeymoon...

After applied been 9 months! So I have a question...

If my status updated and says "new card is being produced".... Does it mean that it is approved?! Because I haven received any update before that!!!

It definitely does mean you've been approved :) Congrats!

Mine said new card is being produced after our interview, then went to approved after that so their notifications aren't always in order.

  2. You should take what's in the checklist given in the interview notice from USCIS and ignore all other checklists elsewhere. Photos, marriage certificate, insurance, credit cards together etc.

You will not need to do medical again if at the time you submitted application, it was still within one year limit.

The interviewer did not approve my case right away for the same reason as my medical was done in Aug 2015. But in 30 minutes after I left, my case status changed to approved.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Mine was also from August 2015 but they approved me on the spot. Same office. Different CO.

    Also, Himanshu, mine shipped today!

  3. Congrats to all the folks who recently got approved.

My interview is scheduled for Oct 17th and I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what documents I need to take with me? I have seen some checklists, but all of them are different, which as you know is getting really confusing for me. Also, mine is a K1 based, do I need to get my medical done again?

Ours was k1 based too and we did not have to redo the medical. When did you have your medical/file for AOS?

We brought what the interview leter said to bring, byt she only asked for marriage certificate, evidence of relationship(any documents that have both of our names on it like bank, lease, and car/car insurance as well as medical insurance) and pictures. She also asked about how we met/how he proposed/why we decided to get married/ any trips we went on together

  4. Hey Congratulations! We are officially approved too.. Phew, was nice and easy.

I couldn't figure who you were in that hall full of people.. lol

My status has changed to Card being produced, can't wait to get in the mail.

We were one row back on the opposite side of the aisle (heard your name when they called you in). Congrats! Mine also changed to card being produced about 20 minutes after we left.

  5. Hello all,

My interview is September 19th, and I just discoverd that my DS3025 is missing! I've torn this place apart looking for it and cannot locate it. I did send in a copy with the application and am wondering if I'll need it for the interview, or if I should just chance it and if I get an RFE at the interview and go get the vaccinations transcribed after? I do have copies of all my vaccination records at least, so having misplaced it does not mean I have no records of any of my vaccinations for later use.

    Thanks for the help!

  6. Thanks for the detailed review!

I'll be seeing Cheema sometime soon and I'm curious - did he ask you to provide any medical records outside of your vaccinations?

His website seems to suggest that you only need to provide records if you have a history of chronic illness/major surgery, so I'm wondering if he simply asked whether or not that's the case - or if he needed medical records to verify a clean bill of health.

I'm asking because I'm not living in my hometown where I'd have access to request medical records (and going back 15+ years of documentation to when everything was filed on paper would be a hassle for everyone!) so if I don't need to jump through that hoop then that's ideal hahah

    Thanks!

Mine was a year ago, but no I did not have to supply any additional medical records besides the vaccination records.

  7. Looks like USCIS just did their monthly processing times update! Question on that...is that the date that they are processing applications UP TO during the current batch? Or the beginning date for the current batch? (San Diego says November 2nd and our date is November 5th so i'm quite antsy at the moment!)

I don't have an answer for you, but as a fellow San Diegan I am interested in this as well! A month and a half behind you in processing and getting quite impatient about it.

  8. Still the same....
