I traveled to Montreal June 30th and Ottawa July first for Canada day and came back on July 4th lol, oh man I missed it.
I also went in June to manitoba. My youngest brother graduated high school so we went for that. This time I'm going to thanksgiving. I miss my family and friends a lot so I decided to go for a week.

Hey guys! Been a long time!!
Been out of forum since I started working then had our Honeymoon...
After applied been 9 months! So I have a question...
If my status updated and says "new card is being produced".... Does it mean that it is approved?! Because I haven received any update before that!!!
It definitely does mean you've been approved Congrats!
Mine said new card is being produced after our interview, then went to approved after that so their notifications aren't always in order.

You should take what's in the checklist given in the interview notice from USCIS and ignore all other checklists elsewhere. Photos, marriage certificate, insurance, credit cards together etc.
You will not need to do medical again if at the time you submitted application, it was still within one year limit.
The interviewer did not approve my case right away for the same reason as my medical was done in Aug 2015. But in 30 minutes after I left, my case status changed to approved.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Mine was also from August 2015 but they approved me on the spot. Same office. Different CO.
Also, Himanshu, mine shipped today!

Congrats to all the folks who recently got approved.
My interview is scheduled for Oct 17th and I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what documents I need to take with me? I have seen some checklists, but all of them are different, which as you know is getting really confusing for me. Also, mine is a K1 based, do I need to get my medical done again?
Ours was k1 based too and we did not have to redo the medical. When did you have your medical/file for AOS?
We brought what the interview leter said to bring, byt she only asked for marriage certificate, evidence of relationship(any documents that have both of our names on it like bank, lease, and car/car insurance as well as medical insurance) and pictures. She also asked about how we met/how he proposed/why we decided to get married/ any trips we went on together

Hey Congratulations! We are officially approved too.. Phew, was nice and easy.
I couldn't figure who you were in that hall full of people.. lol
My status has changed to Card being produced, can't wait to get in the mail.
We were one row back on the opposite side of the aisle (heard your name when they called you in). Congrats! Mine also changed to card being produced about 20 minutes after we left.

And we are officially approved! Not stressful at all

Got mine today. Same timing, 8:15 AM downtown San Diego, hope to see you there
Good luck tomorrow! Maybe I'll see you there. I'm a bit anxious to get it over and done with.

We got our interview 9-12 san diego office, everything went good, but the officer couldnt find ny husband's medical examination, and put our case on hold. What a frustation after waiting for more than 10 months for the interview... and have to wait MORE! :-/
That does sound frustrating! Ours is on Monday in San Diego, any advice?

We opened my account and added a joint savings without issue at Chase. All they really needed was SSN and drivers license so I don't know why they're giving you such a hard time. Try again once you get a state ID? My Chase banker said that's what was needed for me

Awesome, that's kind of early in the morning though. I haven't received the letter yet, so don't know yet.
Is this at the Chula Vista location or San Diego?
San Diego, downtown. I got the mail today for it so I'm sure yours will arrive soon

Hello all,
My interview is September 19th, and I just discoverd that my DS3025 is missing! I've torn this place apart looking for it and cannot locate it. I did send in a copy with the application and am wondering if I'll need it for the interview, or if I should just chance it and if I get an RFE at the interview and go get the vaccinations transcribed after? I do have copies of all my vaccination records at least, so having misplaced it does not mean I have no records of any of my vaccinations for later use.
Thanks for the help!
-
Congrats and Best of luck for the interview! I too received the notification for my Sept 19th interview.
Looks like they are now processing Dec 3rd week cases here in San Diego.
8:15on September 19th. You?
-
Thanks for the detailed review!
I'll be seeing Cheema sometime soon and I'm curious - did he ask you to provide any medical records outside of your vaccinations?
His website seems to suggest that you only need to provide records if you have a history of chronic illness/major surgery, so I'm wondering if he simply asked whether or not that's the case - or if he needed medical records to verify a clean bill of health.
I'm asking because I'm not living in my hometown where I'd have access to request medical records (and going back 15+ years of documentation to when everything was filed on paper would be a hassle for everyone!) so if I don't need to jump through that hoop then that's ideal hahah
Thanks!
Mine was a year ago, but no I did not have to supply any additional medical records besides the vaccination records.

Took them long enough! I guess I'll find out in a few dats what actual time it'll be

Interview scheduled for September 19th over here. Time to prepare mentally!
-
I filed a switchover service request with my representative just because I could, and he said that my case is currently in a queue to have an interview scheduled.
-
Anyone with goodnews ??
Still nothing over here. I think there's at least 3 of us around San Diego from this page that are waiting.
-
Looks like USCIS just did their monthly processing times update! Question on that...is that the date that they are processing applications UP TO during the current batch? Or the beginning date for the current batch? (San Diego says November 2nd and our date is November 5th so i'm quite antsy at the moment!)
I don't have an answer for you, but as a fellow San Diegan I am interested in this as well! A month and a half behind you in processing and getting quite impatient about it.
