You can use I-864EZ.
Word of advice: pay attention to question 19. SERIOUSLY!!
What about question 19 that should I pay attention to?
-
I am still having a bit of a dilemma about which form should I use for AOS, plain I-864 or the I-864EZ.
I am the petitioner and am only petitioning my wife alone.
I am using only my earnings to qualify with NO joint sponsor.
Shall I use the I-864EZ then? Anyone here sent I-864EZ personally?
-
i think For that one if im not mistaken.. you should ask your USC spouse (petitioner) for his/her tax returns for the 3 latest tax year. Thats what my husband did.
I am the USC spouse I know 1 latest tax yr would suffice but not sure if the one you get from IRS online transcript would be enough. but i have employment letter and pay stubs already.

If you work abroad for more than 6 months you have to get a police certificate from the country you work b4... if not then NBI is the one u have to submit at the nvc
Im from Ph too
Thank You! one more question, can I just submit them the IRS transcript that you can get online and print? or does it have to be an official one?

Confuse about what police certificate should include to IV package? is it NBI clearance (philippines) or seomthing else?
-
We got our NVC case number on day 43 (yesterday) after receipt by NVC by calling. Took almost 2 months after USCIS approval! No other notices yet.
As soon as I got my Case number I went ahead and paid AOS bill and did DS-261. Now I am just waiting for IV to be invoiced and do DS-260, then send the packages.

Quick question: I am in the process of gathering AOS package. I have not filed tax return for 2014 as of yet. Can I submit 2013 as my 'latest' tax return? Thanks! And hoping that everyone get their approval as soon as possible.

On December 24, 2014, we approved your Form I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice.
After 5 months of waiting, what a wonderul christmas present!! NVC here we come!

Today marks our 5th month! Hoping for good news soon!
-
Today marked my first month since NOA1 It came by fast though.

That's why i said earlier that im trying to do stuff like painting and all other stuff to get myself busy.
I actually work night shift 40 hrs a week, 12 hrs a shift. That actually makes my day go by faster. Usually awake at night and asleep during the day.

Yes your cousin doesn t help at all but hey we are there lol and we May receive soon it s what i hope....
Mcstorres can you make an estimation too of my average time frame.....:-)
You can create a timeline over here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/
Just fill-in what is asked. After you're finished, hit Find Similar Timelines, then it will give you results of people that have the same service center, same filing month, etc etc. and you can look through each one, although I really doubt that you can find the answer you're looking for, if no one is approved yet then sadly it is of no use to you.
-
Me too im trying to set my mind to 5months processing... but each time my husband's cousin tells me news about their approval, cant help but feel upset.. we have the same service center and filed at the same time. But he got it fast. What a luck!
It is okay to get upset but know that it's only been a month for you? I would consider getting busy on something else.
-
I've no idea... but i've read a lot about that from other forums.. said they expedite cases from PH bcoz of the typhoon yolanda last year... well my husband's cousin was approve in less than a month.
If its true then that means anytime now i will receive good news (finger crossed)
If you're doing timelines, I can see a trend where most Philippines cases were approved between 15sh - 50sh days. However, this is only Nebraska, I am not sure if they are doing it on other service centers. I've looked into other cases that are similar to mine, most of them got approved in less than two months, while others less than a month.
-
Thanks Exodaze... i wish and pray that we will all get a good news soon.
Im so okay the past few days... keeping myself busy with a lot of other stuff, just to avoid checking my status.. I even repainted my room and its a good feeling til my husband's cousin txted me he must be so excited to tell me the good news but ugghh it doesnt help me not even motivate me.
But anyway im goin to forget about that and get my ####### busyyy!! maybe i'll paint the whole house lol
Paint ours too while you're at it lol JK

Its been a month and no good news yet for me... I know its still early.. but here's my husband's cousin buggin me that they got their NOA2 2 weeks ago and now they got their NVC approved last night and his wife is ready for medical etc. Im happy for them though... but it made me sad coz him and my husband filed on the same date so its very frustrating hearing that they got it fast... uggh
Waiting is a kind of torture for me
Just hang in there, we'll pull through I'll give update once there's change. Still initial review here so you're not alone, got my NOA1 last month 28th, so it'll be a month next week Still fingercrossed but I wouldn't stress about it too much because you still have forever being with your husband/wife. A year or two is not that too long but of course it is always nice to be with them earlier. I still plan on visiting my wife every year if USCIS decided not to approve mine fast enough lol...
-
Frustration strikes! sigh
o.o what are you frustrated about?
-
Still Initial Review here, just checked. lol
-
For sure, there's much else we could do besides waiting lol but don't get me wrong, I am as excited as everyone else. It just that if we're going to JUST wait then it'll be harder on your part.

Hello everyone i am a july filer too i am glad to found you guys i ll not be alone on this long process...
Iam already worried because my husband sent the i 130 the 23th of july and they receive don the 24th since then Nothing... I don t Know if it make a little more longer because we fill up 3 I 130 for me and our 2 kids (3 years and half and 1 year and half) plus one g 325a...
We waiting for 10 business days and he ll call.
Anyone Still waiting for this 1st Step? And if it s normal or not?
By the way we did not Know about the g1145 form so i don t Know iam lost and anxious... Thank you....
I was hoping an answer ... :-(
The G1145 is a form that USCIS use so that they can inform you about the status of your papers. It is NOT a mandatory form. Have you received your hard copy of notice of action-NoA1 (I-797C) yet? It usually takes anywhere from 7-8 days (most likely business days) or more. Just be patient. if USCIS receives it, then they have it and will work on it. As soon as you receive your NoA1 you can use the receipt number and register it to their site for notification of status which can be found here. You have to make an account first then add your receipt number.
EDIT: If you didn't get your official receipt by the end of this week, I would call USCIS and ask for your papers. 1-800-375-5283 Customer Service.

I am in the process of assembling my AOS and supporting documents. I want to use 2013 tax return as my most recent. Now, when filling up the income using I-864EZ, do I have to write down my 2nd and 3rd most recent too? Can I leave them blank? I started working 2012, so my 2011, I was still a student. What should I write on 3rd most recent if I was still a student then(2011)?
