and i am stuck now till the ban

although i dont think the details will make any difference , i am asking about the meaning of uscis reply which is standard and the place where my appeal is ,

but

we were denied as my marriage to my present wife is not considered correct due to my divorce from my ex american wife was in egypt not in court but in registration offices

I got a text message scheduling me for I-485 interview next month (July 2016) based on the I-130 that I filed in July 2015. It is approximately 1 year from filing date to interview date.

I filed I-360 in December 2015.

I wrote to USCIS that I wanted my I-485 to be in pending status pending the determination of my VAWA case or for the I-485 to be transferred to my I-360. I made the requests in February and May 2016 with USPS Express mails and I have signature delivery confirmations. I did not receive any response from USCIS about the requests.

I did not receive a response from USCIS that my I-485 will be in pending status or has been transferred to my VAWA I-360.

I have read about different outcomes of people that filed VAWA and attended the I-485 interviews filed with I-130. The Immigration Officer may suspend the I-485, deny the I-485 or approve the I-485.

I already contacted USCIS by phone and they tell me they cannot discuss the VAWA with me by phone that I need to contact Vermont VAWA unit in writing.

I do not plan to attend the I-485 (I-130) interview with my wife. Should I file an I-485 with my existing I-360? Or should I wait till after the interview? Thank you.

tell them your story and your vawa receipt notice

either they will :

1- approve your 485 less propable

2- suspend your 485 till your vawa is adjudicated

3- deny your 485 which is very low probability , in this case file another 485 or wait till your vawa is adjudicated and file another 485

but you have nothing to lose because if you did no appear in your interview even alone , your 485 based on 130 will be denied

You will be good i did ead renewal 3 times and they never asked for biometrics , in application support centers ASC where they take your biometrics , they are very understanding , i saw old chinese people who managed to do biometrics with no id , you will be good , uscis wont ask for biometrics for ead , even though if for any reason you were asked to do them , go , take with you whatever kind of id , photo copy , old russian passport , and explain vawa abuse , all your papers are not reachable and you will be good , good luck maya malinkaya

You will be good , and u know what , may be this is for your benefit to submit medical late , in my jiurney i had to resubmit medical twice as my first one expired and i was asked to resubmit another one just before my aos interview , and i paid twice , so you are lucky , smile dear and good luck

You must Understand that your vawa form and your ead form and your ap form 360 765 131 are accrpted processesd and approved with no need of medical , so you are good till your vawa is adjudicated , if you are god forbid refused so you will not need your medical , if you are approved , they will start to move on to your aos form 485 and will start asking you for your medical and finger prints etc

So , yes you will have your ead card in hand you can work and earn money and after that you can get your medical done.

Hi everyone, can an EAD be approved without biometrics.

IF you r just renewing your EAD so just send 2 photos with each application ( 2 for ead and 2 for advance parole)

but if it is your first EAD THEN , USCIS MUST HAVE YOUR BIOMETRICS TAKEN.

Hey johnvawa, I can relate to you as I feel your pain. I think the first thing you need to find out is if she was divorced when she married you or if she was still married to her ex. If she was still legally married to her ex when you guys tied the knot, that would make your marriage to her invalid. At this point you wouldn't be able to apply for vawa.

If your marriage is in fact valid then I think you do have a shot at filing vawa.

I applied only for one 485 with my american wife befire things went bad then i was scheduled to interview in march to attend interview in april but things went bad with my wife so i applied for vawa and requested my interview rescheduled and my 485 to be in hold till vawa is approved

Vawa was approved in july 2014

Then received nithing from july to january

Then in january Transfere note to another office

Then till now nothing

So my question

Why six month from july to january

What was happening?

When did my case go to local chicago office

When will be my interview

And the background checks were done before my first interview schedule in march

Why again doing them uf thus us tge case?
