Only five of July filers are inline for interview scheduling...anybody received the famous yellow letter yet ?

In one hand Dallas seems to speedup interview scheduling for June filers but in the the other hand they are slowing down on FPs for others, they don't send FP letter soon anymore ...they send them only 7 to 3 days before FP appointments dates.

I got my Biometric Notification letter in mail today. Even though, I signed up for text and email notification but I did not receive any text or email.

Just one thing for people waiting for their FP letter. I did not receive any SMS or email notice before getting the FP letter in the mail ... USCIS website still says whatever has been there since day 1.no update... nothing.

Fingerprints done today 8 / 18 .no less than 120 people were waiting for their FPs ...was lucky to pass under the radar and did mine early...they were checking dates on appointment letters, I just happen to be lucky when I handed the guy my letter he was busy screeming at people "only people with todays appointment will have their FP done"...I just kept my mouth shut handed him my green card and appointment letter upside down and all he did is stamp it and gave me a waiting number took me 50 mn in & out .
Boston is one damn busy field office.

18 days still no FP letter!! I called the USCIS to know if they did send me an FP letter or not yet , the customer service refused to provide that kind of information !!!???? unless I call back after 60 days !! What the *&%$" ...
60 days why !?
What should I do? she even refused to let me talk to a level 2 IO.. and told me"we can not help you at this time".
Any suggestions guys ?!

To applicants who filed their N400 to Dallas,Texas.
1_Do you guys receive an email / text message, before getting FP letters in the mail ?
2_Does the uscis online status update before they send you the FP letter ?
3_ it's been16 days since they received my application and a 8 days since I got the NOA in the mail...but no FP yet no updates no nothing!!, should I be concerned or am I just being too impatient !?
All answers are welcome and thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck with that IO, if all the info you provided in the N400 is clear and true you have got nothing to fear.... I guess your file will be forwarded to her superior for review & approval then oath date in the mail soon...

my bio was6/19 and nothing change after this not even yellow letter
The longest wait time in the whole naturalization process is between fingerprints & interview it can take up to 3 months especially in the northeast states like PA, NY, MA....
About yellow letters, not everybody gets'em ..and most of the time is just a reminder of what you need to bring with you the day of your interview.

I'm a little lost. Is it the notice date on the letter or the priority date? or the date I actually got the letter?
Priority date is the date USCIS received your packet.
Notice date is the date you received 1st letter from USCIS called "notice of action " NOA.
By the way I m from Massachusetts too but field end of July.did you do you finger prints in Boston or lawrence! Did you do a walk in before your appointment date ?

What you got to loose if you call and ask to speak with a level 2 IO....your only way to find out is to call them aderwise you will keep waiting for who knows how long

I stoped checking their website too cause it doesn't update any more no emails no text messages either...I guess it is back to the old fashion way ... Sit tight and wait for Snail mail.

Also, it appears that USCIS has recently slowed down. if you look a few months ago, interview letters were coming within a couple of days of the yellow letter and in the month of June, it's taking weeks.
Even FP letter they don't send them early as before. Usually applicants receiver their FP letter 4 days after getting the NOA letter in the mail or 10 to 14 days after check is cashed. It is not the case anymore since end of July ....I wonder if most USCIS employees take their vacations on July august !!!

What's a priority date? Does this date has any kind of importance regarding the processing of my N400 !?

looking at a timeline list in another website it appears that from July to October things get really slow.
For exemple : boston,MA office
People who did FP prior to july "2012,2013 & 2014" get their interview appointment set in average whithin 25 to 40 +/- 10 days ...but most applicants who have done their FP between July & October, in average it takes up to 90 days or more to get an interview date

Waww ....!! Why did your case took all that time ? Just looking at your time line I got scared!! You subbmited your application on 10/23/2012 ....it must have been a nightmare for you ... at least your case took a happy end finalllllly

Reading those numbers made me hopeless for an interview in less than 2 months from now.
