  1. Hi, I just called again yesterday & they said they are still working on Jan. 13th, but from my understanding they only update the current date once a month. So we won't get a new date until mid august.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I have checked a couple dozen cases after and before my case number and there does seem to be A LOT of cases who received an RFE notice on July 25th or July 28th. So all I can do is find some comfort in the fact that they are working on my case since they seem to be working around my case number.

I did the same thing. A lot of cases around mine are approved.

I asked them why it happened. They couldn't explain it.

My husband said maybe some women are merrier to the army.

Because he is always asked if he is in the army.

I really don't want to have to wait until they update their date in August and then have to fill out a service request. She told me my file was still in normal waiting range. :(

You can call them for expediting instead of filling the online sheet.

  2. Hi everyone, I found this site back in June for the first time. I have been literally waking up every morning and going to bed and checking this page all throughout the day to see if we have gotten any January approvals and what dates are getting NOA2. I have an NOA1 date of January 30th. Its gonna be 6 months in 2 days, and I am just so nervous. I have been calling USCIS and last week they had said they were working on January 13th filers (or after that date I'm not sure what they meant) but when I see how approvals are coming in there is no way to know what they are working on. They don't seem to go in any kind of order even if its by date, I have read a lot of the comments and there are people still waiting from early January. I am trying not to get discouraged but this is just so upsetting. I wish we could all have a speedy process and get our loved ones here! I was hoping my husband would be able to come to the US by sometime in December (before our first anniversary which is in January) but at this rate it's looking very unlikely as after approval we still have a long wait ahead at NVC/consulate for interview.

Let me share some information I heard.
    10 DAYS ONE GROUP
One operator told my husband (petitioner) NOA1 on 13 - 22 is a group, 23 - 2 is the next group, and so on.
But when we called again to confirm this information to another operator, she said she knew nothing about it.
    STILL ON JAN 13TH?
Last time my husband called them was on Jan 17th. They said they were working on 13th.
So it has been on it for 2 weeks.
Are they still working on 13th? It's important, we should share it here if anybody knows.
    ADRESS CHANGING AFTER INQUIRY
On 24th, after my husband called them for expediting, the case status turned to "on july 24th, the related mail address was changed"
We didn't change anything about it.
Some people says it means somebody is touching your case. It only can be a good thing.
Also, some petitions got approved soon after that.
But on my case maybe it's impossible. Because It has already been 5 days since then.
Now I'm checking case status everyday. It's sooooo upsetting.
My husband is going to call them this Friday.
I will share information useful here.
Hope you can share some information such as the case date they are working on, the reason they are late.

Hope you not be that stressful like me.

    Best Regards

  3. Thanks, I tried them all actually but just did not work.

I have a theory is that I originally applied for CR1 because our marriage hasnt been 2 years yet until this november, however they converted it to IR1 even though still a few months away before November...if is this caused any problem with my case...

    Wow, they are so careless.

    Then it is NVC's fault.

    Have you solved it?

Keep in touch. Let us know how you make it solved.

  4. Hi All,

I am in the CR1 immigration process and yesterday I just received an email from NVC got my case number, I filed my application in China Beijing in May. :)

As the email instructed I will need to complete the DS-260 form on this site, https://ceac.state.gov/IV

Ok I need to enter my Case Number (which i just got today) and my birth date to sign in on this page

But you know what, when I tried to log in, the below text pop out:

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

We have contacted NVC and feedback from them is since this case is filed in China we will need to contact guangzhou consulate. There is definitely something wrong with my invoice id number.

I reached the general line of guangzhou consulate this morning unfortunately can't get much helpful info out of them. The woman answered my call told me there are no extension line for immigrant visa inquiry, at the same time we also emailed them reported our problem.

I wonder if anyone had the similar problem and how to solve it?

My case hasn't run that far yet.

    But i think,

1st, You should mail them to confirm the Case Number and the invoice Number is right or not.

2nd, If they are correct, you can change a browser or change a computer to try again.

3rd, If it still doesn't work, you can try to use VPN to connect the internet. There are some free VPN service in China, you can baidu them.

If you tried everything it still doesn't work. Maybe you can contact them again.

  5. My date we sent the I-130 in was Feb. 11, we were sent to Nebraska. At Nebraska at month 5, we got sent to Texas(got that in the mail), then we got to sent California(never got in the mail, but friends with a Senator who found out that was the next place it was sent too). This morning, I received my text saying that my process is now under Initial Review. It has been under review for 6 months, for those that have been dealing with this, does this mean it has been "opened/touched" and I will hear something today or tomorrow? I am hoping so, but I don't want to get my hopes up, that is something that I have learned so far. If not, should I just keep bunkering down and watch the days go by? :P

My wife is from Peru/Lima/South America if that helps at all.

There is nothing you can do but being patient.

If you want to know more details you can call USCIS 1-800-375-5283

Since it has been already more than the goal - 5 months.

You can expedite it by telling the inquiry on phone or sending them the e-request here.

They will give you answer in 2 weeks.

I don't think the processing time is related to some particular nationality.

BTW, my case has already been more than 6 months too.

My USC husband has been doing a lot effort on it.

The only thing I can do is pray for everybody here including myself.

    Best regards for you.

  6. I can't wait one more minute to signed up a new account.

To apologise all these dramas from Chinese wives, including mine. (-_-||)

    I do understand the situation.

I hated a lot around when i was in the States.

It takes time to be comfortable with a new place.

But I do think if she loves you, she should love everything about you.

You are live in city or country, you have beer belly or 6 packs.

    Nothing matters.

Some Chinese women don't understand how to love.

It doesn't mean they don't love.

I hope you can give her a chance to realise how amazing you are.

Let her go back to China, ignore her for a while. Then she will realise you are important.

I do not agree with breaking up.

But if you don't love her anymore, you should follow your felling.

I think 50 years old for a man is still young enough to built a new family.

On the opposite, she will be difficult after being released to wild again.

You should let her know its a serious problem,

you can accuse her off the the States.

Hope you can work it out.

    Hope you be happy everyday.
