  1.

11/8/2013 filer here, two service requests and another direct email to NSC also told additional background checks. But this time they say wait 90 days to contact again...

Based on your inquiry we researched the status of this case. USCIS is actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 90 days, please contact us for an update.

hello, your situation is really tough.

have you tried to make an appointment at info pass?

Have you tried to get congressmen in?

  2. I m not done. My NOA1 is Jan23

Just got a response of my service request. it says

    "
however your case has not cleared all required security checks at this time. We can not provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your case.
    "

It's a bit different from others. But it's meaningless as usual.

    Gods help me. Pray.

BTW which gods should I pray to.

  3. zoe_sir, it's the same with almost any country once you start dealing with administration. Of course one would expect the US to be more efficient on that front but alas no.

I said some thing very bad to my American husband.

I thought he didn't try his best during the process.

I feel terrible about what I said.

I think even if we have chance to go back together.

We won't be able to love like before.

After NOA2 there is a long waiting in NVC, after NVC.

I feel terrible about the whole thing.

I feel terrible about wasting time. I want to start working.

But how can I focus on work with all these immigration stuff in my mind.

I feel sorry for my husband.

I don't know how long can i do this.

  4. Yeah right, even petitioner or beneficiary doesn't know the reason for this expedite but USCIS knows

And same holds true for us but for delay

even petitioner or beneficiary doesn't know the reason for this DELAY but USCIS knows

For reaching the five-month AVERAGE goal, they must do something once and for all.

One case like this can neutralize lots of delayed cases.

  5. Metric to inches (direct equal) conversion would be something to be envied of

    So you are a Shanghainese.

Well, my lady is from Shanghai also. I'm a Korean-American.

Though Chinese and Korean family values are similar in many ways,

I still find difference in cultures. I've been doing a lot of reading on

Shanghainese culture...particularly women...and learned interesting facts.

So perhaps, you can also tell me first hand what Shanghai woman are like

to help me get to know her better. Please~~~~

If we lived closer, you two could have started Shanghainese connection...

Awww. You such a nice husband.

You already got her. You know your girl.

I will move to san francisco.

But I have a very good friend live in Austin. I probably will visit him.

I wish we can catch up some day? in couple years?

  6. Western English teachers are "hot" commodity in Asia, particularly in Korea, China, and Taiwan.

"Hot" because market demands them, but my reference too "hot" is...

for some reason, they are hugely popular to Asian females (young, old, single, or married)

as many of them are just throwing themselves too easily to these western male English instructors.

There is some sort of aura of glamour, charisma, beauty, mystique, or something... :alien:

    that they fall for.

I know few young guys that went this route in Korea and China,

and heard all the stories. They never want to come back home... its a heaven for.

He did english teaching for a boy's bording school in Tokyo.

We met there, lived there together for 3 years.

One day, he went camp with school, shared room with students.

At night, after putting the light out, a boy asked:

    "every westen has a big #######? "

    ..............

They thought he was sleeping. But he wasn't.

It makes him uncomfortable that people talk about him in a whisper.

Hehe. Still a funny story for me.

  7. By Bribing Or Committing to Suicide, Any Idea can Make It Faster?

    Any Idea ? OK - here's one....

Assumption - 12 to 14 months from filing date till interview date.

Have yer uscitizen spouse get a job NOW teaching English in China, contracted to start for the fall semester, a one year contract. After 6 months, he can apply for the I-130 via Direct Consular Filing to the USCIS office in Beijing or Guangzhou. Interview about 2 to 3 months after filing date.

Sure, it means yer spouse gives up his/her life in the USA for a year - but - isn't being with you, daily, worth it ?

Haha~ You know that song “死了都要爱(love and death in english)”...........

    It's too impetuous for me.

I can't let him give up his career there for me. He doesn't want to teach english.

  8. Actually it's not a bad joke. You have to have thick skin and a sense of humor here. But well worth it. Hell, my fiancé is rowing to Hawaii, you think your a wreck ?

Rowing to Hawaii? From which island?

For me rowing is not a bad idea. From Shanghai to San Francisco, No lands can stop me.

I just checked your time line. You got NOA2 so fast.

    Can you share some experience?

  9. My PD is Nov 26 and still waiting. My Senator contacted USCIS and was given same answer as My last service request. Security checks not complete, working on it. I have a common name and I get held up at customs often. Was told last time that a felon has the same name and birth date. Awesome. I guess this is the hold up, but you would think they could do this quickly. I got a letter from Homeland security so I get through customs without much hassle now, takes 2 extra minutes at customs.

    Awesome. Good luck with that.
