Wakow got a reaction from Darnell in Medicaid for you when you get here.
Just as a helpful FYI. When you get your work permit, normally 3-6 months after you file your paperwork, and your wife is pregnant, due to changes in the law, you can now get Medicaid for your pregnant wife.
This depends on your state though. Not all states allow it. It does not count against you as a public charge. This only allows for your wife during the pregnancy and right after the birth. Then it is just for the baby until you get enough qualifying quarters of work, which as an FYI your partners work adds to your spouses after you are married.
I cannot post all the links to prove this, but through Job and Family in the Great State of Ohio, my wife now has medicaid.
** Most people do not know this exclusion and I had to first file an appeal and then before I had my state hearing I flashed a wad of papers with the O.R.C. (ohio revised code) and they called the law director in which they called me back and requested me to drop the hearing.
