    i'm keeping my hopes up BUT i'm already expecting a lil delay on our visa decision/approval since 4 of the 5 years of my recent work/residence history were spent in Dubai (outside my country of origin). I guess it entails more background checking since a police clearance (from Dubai) is no longer required in the USEM interview. I am already in the Philippines when we sent out our application.

    Is anyone in the same situation?

    breathe in... breathe out... hopefully our approval will be soon too...

    :rofl::rofl::rofl: guess what i've found when i checked my timeline's expected adjudication date.

    "There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals."

    even the VJ system/timeline is going crazy on the transfers, overdue approvals or the lack thereof.

    or maybe they're cutting us some slack. by not providing expected adjudication date, they are temporarily shutting any sign of hope.

    I'm seeing my fiance this November. He's coming back to the Philippines to visit me and our son. YEY! I'm gonna bend backwards if i have to just for us to afford that trip. I miss him to the core and I'm in the brink of insanity. lol We've already scrapped the initial New Year's day wedding and agreed on having it on Valentine's instead. Lesser expectations, lesser heartbreak! :ranting:

    we all have our share of anxiety and desperation... the physical separation is the most unbearable factor of this whole process... :clock::crying::clock:

    we're madly in love and like anyone else here, we're dying to be reunited and start our lives as husband and wife. (L)

    but with the transfers happening (...NOT soliciting bad comments from TSC filers please) ... the hope of spending Christmas together is becoming bleak... :crying:

    we are trying to work extra hours to come up with funds for his soonest visit back to the Philippines (maybe before December when the plane fares are still friendly). I sell some of my stuff, too since i won't be able to bring em all to Vegas.

    Filipinos having close-knit family and friends. I spend more time with the people i'll leaving behind. I'm sure we wont be able to afford visiting in the next 2-3yrs (with the AOS expenses- considering we have a K2- and saving up for another baby).

    It is in this indefinite waiting period that I'll be forever grateful to whoever invented Skype, Viber and social networking sites. We communicate on a daily basis. The time zone difference sucks but we compromise and make sure we get to talk even for just an hour a day.

    Let's all try to stay sane and encourage each other to make our journeys a worthwhile one...

    it's never just the destination, the path leading to it should be an experience full of learnings and positivity.

    (when i say luck because this seems like a lottery- you'll never know why another application gets approved earlier than yours, LOL :rofl: )

    Yes its NOA2 gosh u are so lucky, congratulations.I can only imagine ur hapiness right now, tears in my eyes just readint it

    i feel you... i'm literally in tears when i read they got their NOA2... i'm so elated for them ... and excited for us cos they are just 2 days ahead of us... I hope we'll all be hearing good news sooner than later... crossing my fingers and ... prolly toes if it helps LOL

    Good luck to all of us July Filers!

    i know it gets tougher as the waiting game runs longer... May it be shorter than 5months as we are all dying to be with our fiance/e! XX

    For now, let's just update and keep each other sane during the wait. LOL
