Visa APPROVED on February 26th and since yesterday, CEAC portal already says ISSUED. So I just want to thank VJ family for all the support.

One thing I am concerned about is, Consular officer, gave me a yellow slip on which it was written your visa is approved but she forgot to give me payment slip of 165 dollars(USCIS Immigrant Fee handout). So I asked a helper there to go to officer and enquire about that slip. The officer checked my file and told, my slip isn't there, so she put a blue sticky note (my case number written on it) on that yellow paper and told I would get it along my visa.. I am little worried about that payment slip now, wondering if this may cause any further delays. Has anybody else experienced this?

"READY" just means what it says you are ready for your interview as far as the embassy is concerned. Meaning your petition is with them now.

Our embassy interview was scheduled through NVC and it is on February 26th and biometrics appointment (VAC) is on February 15th.

I checked it yesterday. It was at NVC but now it shows ready. Yes our interview is on february 26th but I have already created profile on ustravel docs as it was mentioned to follow instructions given on New Delhi consulate. Is that okay that I created profile before it said READY? I have already booked biometrics appointment and selected visa pickup location. Hope that doesn't delay the process.

Sure, W2 is a form that employers send to their employees normally no later than January 31.

Have your husband wait a little with 2014 tax filing.

I would bring tax transcripts for the 2011-2012-2013 and W2 for 2014.

Sorry this maybe a silly question, when my husband has not filed taxes for 2014, can he still send me w2 of 2014?

My interview was on 20th of jan . I took w2 form plus tax returns of 2014 . But they did not ask any thing related to this .

hey guys, my interview is on February 26th. My husband has not filed taxes for 2014 yet. So in AOS package we sent tax return slips of 2013. Now at New Delhi Consulate, they would ask for W2 form, so w2 for 2013 is enough? Also do we need to carry W2 of previous years too? There are no updates in our AOS package after it was approved by NVC. Thanks in advance.

When did you get case complete?Has your interview been scheduled? We got CC on January 6th but our interview has not been scheduled yet at New Delhi consulate.

Called NVC. A lady supervisor told me that for BOMBAY embassy all February is all booked, now they will move to March. I hope I get a March Interview and no later than that. I was hoping for Feb. I guess that's not a possibility anymore.

Oh I am so sorry that they are all booked for Mumbai Consulate. Do you have any idea about New Delhi consulate? Is anyone else too waiting for interview to be scheduled in New Delhi consulate?

Also I want to know if Delhi consulate is still scheduling interviews for February? I hope I didn't miss February interview date!!

I saw those scan dates in this forum only. Yes those were for checklist and one was without checklist.

Someone on fb with November 7th scan date got CC. Finally they are reviewing checklists!! Hope I'll hear tomorrow too...Praying to God!!

This process is torture. I thought they were working on checklist on 45-50 days. I know exactly how you feel. My new scan date for aos checklist is Dec 16. I was hoping they flew through Nov. Stay positive we will get over this obstacle.

Yup checklist for AOS. I think people who had original scan dates got CC, even Nov 11th, Nov 17th, December 17th scan dates I have seen but unfortunately few unlucky like me who got checklisted are waiting longer!!! it really hurts its our 7th month at NVC. Whats your scan date? is that for checklist?

Yeah..i talked to a supervisor , i asked to her to review my case since it passed the 60 day mark..she told me to wait patiently ..since we just had many holidays off.... she didn't ask me to call back..

Happy new year everyone!!! The year is off to a great start for my husband's visa! His checklist was completed in less than 2 weeks and that's including weekends and Christmas, we couldnt believe it!!! And today we got his interview date for Feb 3rd, a month away!!! I cant believe we are FINALLY getting close to the finish line! Here's hoping for good news for everyone this month!
