Our visa was approved yesterday. I'm very happy

I'm not sad, I have my boxing gloves on and I'm ready to fight. My baby made me believe in love again, and this love story has only just begun.

I finally got my approval 10/17/2014....... 6 months and 1 day since noa 1 on 4/16/14 & RFE.... feeling blessed ... all others waiting its coming....

Finally I got approval. I checked website and it said : oct/15 they mailed a notice that they have approved this .....So happy about it.
Mrskodua34, Mike and others are waitting NOA2. Dont worry, you will get app today....

Yeah, I e-mailed NVC as they suggested, but they haven't replied to my e-mail yet. If they tell me tomorrow they still don't have it, I will tell them about the e-mail and also send up a follow e-mail. The visa gods probably decided they were too kind to me with my NOA2, so now I should have some drama .

About the case number they ask for, it says to put the number that USCIS assigned you, the petition number. I put my Texas Service Center number...
So you don't really need to wait until NVC has assigned you a case number.

Woo Hoo we got our approval tonight!!! No we just have to wait and figure out the next step in this process

Good News!! Back home tonight, got the packet 4!! Interview date is Oct. 29,.2014 .... after transferred, and received the NOA2, things move alot quicker than i thought, finally to the end of the process!
Tmr have to call and make appointment for the medical check ... happy happy ... cant wait to send message to my fiance .. hehe...

Hey all! Congratulations to all new approvals.
Just wanted to let ya'll know that Gloria just received a letter stating that our petition was received at the Guatemalan embassy. We didn't bother calling NVC, decided just to wait.
Now, I'm gonna go see her next friday for 10 days and when I come back we'll probably do the medical and Interview. Stoked!

Thank you very much for providing this info. Nice to know CSC is just super slow sometimes in getting this stuff out. I thought my anxiety and frustration would go away after NOA2 but USCIS was kind enough to extend it a bit more...

Being that we were approved and received the update last night, I'm very surprised that I wasn't asked to submit more information for either myself or my fiance. My fiance will be flying in from Scotland Saturday and was nice news to have before he came. We were the first to post about being transferred to the CSC in here and I've been following this particular thread since then to see how quickly things seemed to be moving along. We obviously weren't the fastest on the list for an approval. I have been through the system before with an ex husband and the process, being it was a different way that I went through the system, is very trying on the patience, frustrating and very confusing as well. You can speak with an officer, ask a question and get an answer then call back 10 minutes later and get a whole different answer than you just received from the first officer. I do understand how frustrating it really is. I never bothered calling to ask because I already knew that things needed to run its own course. I only called to update some information. Having been through USCIS before, it is far better these days than it was back then. Was a proper nightmare back then. Plus now we have forums like this to give support and to help each other through.
I'm so sorry that the earlier filers are still not receiving anything. I can't imagine how devastating it is to see us later filers that were transferred getting approvals first. Doubtful that we will ever really know the reasons behind it. I will still follow this thread because it will be nice to see the earlier filers start getting approved. Not only that, I hope everyone gets your approvals very soon.

@ Espico They told me the same thing. I was in Mesquite Tx and transferred. But when I called hey had no record. If you called today keep checking after 8 PM that's when they seem to post! Good luck!
