If so, him not having a job until right before the interview (is it the 7th of June?) could be bad... If you read the bottom of each page they have something different, but the actual form is the same. As long as you use all 4 pages I don't think the colors matter. Thus far, we have used a downloaded form for everything. Printed them all on plain white paper.

Any ideas on when you get to live in this house you've been working so hard on?

Hopefully someone with actual experience on age differences will post here, but I can tell you that being on this board, I have heard of many couples with a fairly big age difference that have been ok. Just be sure you can prove the legitimacy of the relationship if questioned.

i have to disagree with that one diet coke is the best thing around. and not because its diet, the regular stuff is just too sweet for me. we always had diet dr pepper in the house for my dad, i even went to the museum or whatever for it down in texas with him and i think the stuff is alright, but can't beat my diet coke!

That is so true meauxna, when my daughter took her citizenship test, she was required to "prove" her command of the english language, She IS english

As far as whether or not it is reasonable to expect immigrants to learn English - I certainly think it is. I mean if you travel around in other parts of the world (I myself can only speak for Europe, but imagine it is the same elsewhere) and see a bunch of American tourists who speak only English and expect others to cater to them, it is thought that they are being obnoxious and egocentric. I know I made it a point to learn at least some basic phrases and make an attempt to speak the language for every country I entered. And that's just for visiting!

If you move to a country, you should learn its language. By all means continue to speak and teach your children your native language, but use the language of the country you are in as well.

We went to play trivia at the local pub tonight, usually we suck at it, but tonight we were totally on until the last couple rounds. Then we almost had a massive comeback... even had an answer that would've given us 1st place but thought it was too stupid and put something else in the final round. grrrrrrrr.
