I want to booked an appointment too but its just 7 days now from the time the NVC case status change from "in transit" to " READY" my petitioner recieved letter from NVC dated june 11,2014... so we talked about getting my medical and paying the visa fee.. if you want to know if the USEM already recieved your physical file... just read this

from embassy: Once we receive a K nonimmigrant (fiancé) visa applicant’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved visa petition (I-129F) from the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC), the applicant will be notified in writing that he/she is eligible to be scheduled for a visa interview at the Embassy. Alternatively, if an applicant received notice from NVC that his/her case has been forwarded to Embassy Manila, the applicant may call the Immigrant Visa Unit’s inquiry line at 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185, during regular business hours to confirm if the case has already been received by the Embassy.

Once an applicant has confirmation regarding the status of the case, he/she should visit our website (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph) or contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930 to schedule a visa interview appointment. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Advice letter... CFO is so iffy on that, sometimes they ask sometimes they don't. Are you a self-assured and confident person when interviewed? If you are not meek and shy I would bet they won't ask for it.

** From the Family Code of the Philippines: it's 21-25 years old for advice and 18-21 years old for consent. (Some have posted on VJ that they were not asked for this, yet others have been asked, so be prepared) Bring the ID of the parents, plus copies, postal ID should be adequate.

When did you get your MNL # ? If it was a few weeks ago more then likely the embassy has your case file. There is up to date contact numbers in my link... follow the flashing arrow below this posting.

for the first time after so many dial, i got them on phone.. i ask about my case.. they say that they haven't reieved the physical file yet.. im done with the medical... so maybe i will just get the CFO certificate on monday, thanks hanks.. im reading the k1 visa process from the link you post...

do i need to notarised the affidavit of support?? and about CFO im just 25 do I need to have affidavit of parental Advice?? im done with medical yesterday and still waiting for the dates (appointment) to pop-up. (just confusing) I hope we got our lucky date already...

yeah... i saw an open date july 14,15,16,17 and when i try to get it, it say "ERROR in SCHEDULING" i dont know if somebody got it already or due to my internet connection....

its frustrating... really... because that date is really perfect for me....

but... stay positive... maybe that number really not for me....

ive been looking on "consular appointment interview" for almost 3 days now... i try to put "adds-on" too on my dashboard just to notify me if there's a new date (NO LUCK YET). ive done my "first day" of medical and ask to come back again tomorrow @ 7am... if you have the nearest date appointment you are the "PRIORITY" (and it's fine) (take note: i arrived at st.lukes 2:30am and as I remember i'm the number 5 in line, and when we go inside when the guard giving the actual number I noticed he skip numbers 5-8.... so i get number 9) and the 5-8 goes to some people who i didnt saw from the time we start making a line (magic right) another take note: to those people who dont have appointment yet...(like me) the radiologic technician will ask you to come back again tomorrow cause the sonographer will evaluate your xray and so on (even if it's "normal chest finding)... ( and i compare it to the person who got appointment on july 24, 2014... well she finish it in one day... she got her xray and her shots..) well enough for the medical issue.. the thing is.. when are we going to get our appointment date?

well try and try till we succeed... good happens to those who wait.. but be sure not more than 6 months cause if you do your medical already and still you cant find any available dates... (within that 6months period) you will repeat everything again... (based on the experience on the girl who i talk today...
