What a relief

Did your CEAC status also change from Immigrant Visa (IV) > NonImmigrant (NIV)? That is usually a good sign that it will be issued soon.

Looks like for most people it changes to issued with a week of going from Ready to NIV AP, but there really is no way to tell.

Mine took over a week to be issued, and I started getting really worried so I emailed them, and apparently there was a big computer crash that caused everything to get delayed. Sometimes things can happen that are completely out of everyone's control.

Yeah.. It's NIV now.. I hope they will issue it this week or next week.. Cos.. I really miss him.. Like so bad..

usually no issues a day or two. What day did they tell you to pick up Visa? It should say issue any day now.

I got interview last July 18, 2014 at USEM and got approved.. It went smooth and they didn't ask me for 221(g) now.. I checked it in ceac for my case status

July 18- READY

July 21- administrative processing

July 22-23 still "AP"

How long does administrative processing take..?

Finally...Got an appt for 7/25!!! God is Great!! So happy. For everyone out there...keep the faith. We were at it for over a month. It can be very discouraging. But...hang in there...be vigilant. You'll get an appointment...you just have to stick with it. Best of Luck to Everyone!!!

tip girl.. when the dates pop up already.. just calm down... but be fast as you can... it happens to me... i saw the date and i am so super duoper fast when i click it.. first i got it and then i click the 7:30 and set the appointment.. the problem is I feel shaky.. maybe super excited.. and then after that when i click it again.. gosh.. i cancel it haha good they have 32 slots that day.. i keep clicking without knowing im cancelling it already.. anyways.. the system will asked you if you will proceed to cancel or not.. i didnt see it the first time.. i click Yes right away and then "TADAH" your appointment cancelled already.. so... "KALMA" amiga... i got july 18, 2014..

Come there early as you can... Don't worry if you come 2 am there's a barangay tanod who will get you and let you stay in their outpost..

1. Be sure you have your on line appointment for GCP ( on- line appointment for k visa and spouse ) if you don't... They will not accept you.. ( except for those who got flight the same day) http://gcp-appointment.cfo.gov.ph

2. Look for any special holiday in manila before you come ( CFO close during special holidays)

3. Have your documents with you specially the originals and photocopy

A. Two valid government I.D with pictures (photocopy them)

B. Passport bio page photocopy ( bring your passport too)

C. Copy of your visa

D. If you got visa already fill out this form http://www.cfo.gov.ph/pdf/downloadable%20forms/registrationform.pdf

( don't bring the whole packet from the embassy and if you bring it.. YOU KEEP AN EYE ON IT.

E. NSO certified birth certificate ( original and photocopy)

F. Certificate of no marriage

G. Birth certificate of your fiancé

H. Copy of his passport bio page

I. Intent to marry ( original and photocopy with sign)

J. G-325a ( photocopy ) for you and your fiancee

K. Pictures together

L. ITR's including form 1040, W2 or tax transcript ( be sure you blackened the SSN)

M. And 400 pesos

You can bring crackers and water too cos seminar is a little bit long.

I think they will have 20% discount for those people who lived in area/s affected by yolanda(super typhoon) and the earthquake something like that..

I'm bothered with my nbi as well. I just noticed today that in my NSO BC my given name in upper area is Dianah that was in all my documents. When I look in the boxes in the bottom area it doesn't contain the letter H so it's only Diana. Will I need an nbi with aka as well?

Hey guys have some question... I have my apoointment but cancelled once and got new one... Is it posible for me to rechedule for ealier date or i only have one chance to reschedule once and id i failed and get new appointment then i will have to wait 3mons?

I read it on the site that applicant only allowed to rechedule twice... But mind was accidentally canceled and got same same and time for my 2nd one...

Applicants are only allowed to reschedule twice (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. If the second rescheduling attempt is canceled, an applicant will only be allowed to reschedule a new date after a waiting period of 90 days. Please plan your visa application accordingly to avoid problems securing an interview appointment.

I even called direct but they are telling me that nothing for K-1 during that time period that open up the slots. She told me there's opening but not for k1. I don't know.do u think there's something wrong with my profile? i haven't seen an appointment, not even once.

The NVC letter says that my file is on way to consulate.. I called them to ask my case they say still in transit.. I checked ceac it's READY.. I'm just worried.. And confused.. I hope they get my physical file before my interview.. Anyways.. One more months before our interview..
