It depends on the state where the petitioner (USC) is located. Please fill in your profile information.
Ok, I guess I forgot to update my profile information. He lives in Alaska right now...

Hi everyone,
Me and my fiancé are just about ready to send our I-129F but want to know, how do we tell which service center will be the one processing our application? Probably a silly question but I want to check processing times so we have a rough idea...
Thanks in advance!

You will be totally fine. After we filed the i129f, I travelled to the US about five or six times. Just answer their questions honestly and don't offer any information they do not specifically ask about. It is always a good idea to have some form of proof of your ties to Canada (letter from work or lease agreement or anything that shows you will be returning to Canada).
good luck on your k1 journey!
I do get paperwork/visa from my company stating that I am able to work in the US so as long as that's all I need, thanks. Even though I've traveled to the US a bunch for work, I still get nervous when they ask me questions even though I have never done anything illegal in my life! lol
I never thought of bringing a lease agreement, that's a good idea. Better safe than sorry! Thanks for the advice, looks like from your timeline your process went fairly smoothly, I may have some questions for you along the way! Where in Canada are you from?

My fiance and I are still working on filling out our I-129F but something occurred to me... I am Canadian and travel to the US for work, while our K-1 Visa is being processed could I get hassled or possibly denied entry into the US when going for work?? Thanks!

My fiancè is filling out her g325 form and addresses in Argentina are looooong. What to do? Thank you!
Click on the example forms and look at the example G-325: In the example G-325 form on the employment section it says if you don't have enough room to just use a separate piece of paper but label it G-325: Address information and reference the question number from the form. And then on the actual form, note in the address field that it is attached. Hope this makes sense! Good luck!

Thanks TBoneTX!! It's nice to know there is so much support out there from other people who are going/have been through the same thing

Good to know, thanks.
Yeah, there are so many different stories from people on here so we're not really sure what to expect. Thanks for the support
I live in Calgary so assume I will be going to the Vancouver consulate.

So I'm a newbie to VJ and to forums in general so any help with either would be appreciated! I live in Canada and my fiance lives in Alaska...thing is, we don't plan on living in Alaska. So when filling out the I-129F form, what the heck do we put as the address where the fiance intends to live?! I'm so excited to get our process started but there is so much info to take in it is a bit overwhelming! But this seems like a great site to get all the best info so any little bit will help! Thanks!

We don't know where we will be living yet either so we put To be determined and we were approved, very quickly I might add!! Best of luck to you!
