  1. Ooooh congrats and finally thery review my response to rfe on 7th october wish my approval will come very soon

Thank you. From what I have read on a few websites, when they send out an RFE, they usually set your file aside and if you respond quickly and correctly, then you are approved since the RFE is usually the only thing they are waiting for. Hopefully, the person that processed yours set your file aside. I wish you all the best and look forward to your NOA2 next week.

For us, it's embassy time again. Hopefully NVC will get our petition to the embassy pronto.

  2. I recieved it and send them what they want but not recieve any response after that

Did they get it? Did you track the mail and got confirmation that they got the RFE? If yes, you need to call them and find out why the status did not change. If not, you need to resend and track, but contact the post office on the first one to find out if it was delivered. Include proof of first response mailing if you are sending a second time.

  3. Im june filler my nao1 was in 19th june and not receive nao2 is something wrong with me?

June filer also. NOA1 June 7th. You're not alone. There are April and May filers still waiting. I'm always reminded when I call that the time frame is 5 months, so I don't even check anymore. Anytime I get a text and e-mail come in at the same time, I will know it USCIS. Then I will check. Until then, we can only pray. I know it's hard and tough, but do things that make you happy and won't get you in trouble and keep busy and the time will fly by faster.

  4. I just received an RFE as well.....can't imagined what I missed. All this time waiting for approval and now more delay. Praying for speedy approval after this.

    5/27/2014..............Sent off petition
    5/31/2014..............USCIS recieves Petition
    6/04/2014..............$340.00 check cleared
6/04/2014..............Recieved USCIS Acceptance confirmation via email
    6/09/2014..............Recieved 1st NOA via U.S. mail(Form I-797C)
    6/10/2014..............Alien Registration Number Changed
9/29/2014..............RFE mailed via USCIS website notification

I wouldn't worry too much. The way I looked at my situation was that if there had been no RFE, I would have been approved now. So they have pulled your file and that is good news because once they get your RFE and it's good, you're on your way to approval. Good news is that I have not read of anyone denied so far.

  5. Thanks for your advice and kind words. I wish you the best of luck and hope all goes smoothly for you this time! Would you mind sharing with us what the RFE is for?

The RFE was for a waiver because I had filed previously and denied. That makes you a multi-filer and you must include a request for waiver in your petition. Apparently, you have to do this if you have filed more than twice in the past, regardless if your petition was for the same person,...something called the IMBRA act of 2005. I had called to ask if I needed to include this waiver and was told it did not apply to me. However, thinking about it since my last post. the people I spoke with may not have had all the information on their screen when they gave me that answer. No problem as I already had written the request and just need to change the date.

So for anyone out there who had previously filed and denied and did not included this and still waiting for NOA2, you might want to send this request in.

  6. Thanks you allfor you support. I got the RFE today...not a big deal but could be...something I had called and written to them about before I filed and was told by two different officers that I did not need as it did not apply to me. Now I am to submit it. Luckily, I already have it and will submit it with the response from them that said It did not apply to me.

To Dohan, on our previous petition, I submitted a copy and even original copies of some documents when I filed the I-129F. That included the police reports as well. So they already had everything when it was sent to the embassy. My fiancee only had to go to the embassy with the medical report. She also had original copies of all documents in case they asked for any. Our I-129F was approved very quickly and the interview was scheduled very quickly as well. Only problem was a wrong date on the I-129F, otherwise my fiancee would have been here already in January.. I did the same thing again this time around and submitted everything except the medical exam which you cannot do ahead of time.

Good luck and God's speed to all. Seems like they moving again in CSC.

  7. Posted Today, 11:25 AM

Are we the only June filers at CSC who still haven't received their NOA2 yet? According to the VJ timelines, even August filers are getting their NOA2 and almost nil for July filers. Pretty confused. :/

PS: congratulations to those who have received it. Please start sharing your experience in here so that those who are waiting can start prepping themselves ahead for the procedures. Thank you.

No, your're not the only ones. We are CSC also and our petition was received June 3rd and NOA1 June 6th. We filed for expedite and have not heard anything since. We have called twice and the first time was told we would get mail with regards to the expedite and second time just told to wait.

    So no, you're not alone.

  8. Hi Everyone,

I just ran into this on another thread and felt it might help everyone to have an idea what happens to your petition once you have submitted it. You can read this thread here : http://www.visajourn...dicator-q-and-a

it's from an adjudicator who used to work at USCIS. It's from a while ago. but gives you a very good idea of the whole process from their eyes etc. It was an eye opener for me and makes it easier for me to give USCIS more time. Hope this will enlighten and inform you more. Cheers, congrats to all who got their NOA2 and happy endings to the rest of us.

  9. You're right, it was opened it June for June 2014 files. However the TCS files were getting very frustrated and there were harsh echanges and it was suggested for TSC filers to create a separate thread. I'm not even sure if that was ever done cos I never checked. I don't see any reason why all June 2014 Filers cannot be in the same place regardless of Service Center location. It has always been like that, so why change it. I assure you we all feel the pain and anguish of TSC filers. I will not contribute to this issue anymore after this, but just post my timeline when available as I don't like where this is all going. I apologize if my post offended anyone. For anyone who cares, and wants to, a VJer, ayla_42 created a thread JUNE 2014 filers - TEXAS SERVICE CENTER. If this thread frustrates you, then switch. But I wish we can all stay in the same place and share our experiences.

Plus, if you look at the posts for the TSC files (which I just checked now after posting), you will see that they are happy to have their own place and also some confirm they were very frustrated with the fast approvals for CSC filers. I rest my case!

  10. Calm down folks. This is why, I believe it was suggested earlier for the TSC folks to move to the TSC section. Many were getting very frustrated leading to not-too-friendly exchanges. I don't believe that is what we are here to do. We're here to lift each other up, but I have noticed a snide comment each time in many posts with referencew to TSC. Why is a TSC comparison necessary for just about every post here. If you're getting frustrated at the pace of the CSC, then do yourself a favor and move to the TSC posts.Nobody here controls how fast or slow their petitions are handled. We all did the best we could and submitted and then started praying or doing whatever we believe we need to do to effect events.

If you've been on VJ long enough, you will understand why the comparison reference. Kay&Jay was/were only trying to diseminate information which was misinterpreted. At, least, that's how I see it. Let's encourage one another here, share information that will help us all (God knows I have learnt a lot here). It will help if the TSC folks who decided to stay here stop all the comparison comments at each post. We all already know that some (not all) TSC petitions take longer. But if if you really want to be fair, they are still withing the given time frame, for the most part. I understand the frustration and we're all here to comfort each other. If I shared my own frustrations at getting to the interview and having to start all over again like I never applied before, and mentioned that in every post here, I'm sure some develop apathy towards my situation. That does not mean they don't care for what i'm going through. Can we just make this place what it is supposed be.

  11. I have been there also. I got back from work and my wife had moved all my hard earned property out of the house, then went on to have me arrested on false charges. She then proceeded to USCIS to file battered spouse privilege. Till this day, I do not know the outcome of that petition. I went to USCIS to withdraw my petition and I was told it was no longer my petition and they woud not even entertain anything from me, though over several months of investigation I had been able to gather evidence of fraud, including a previous marriage that was not disclosed to me or on the petition we filed. People Like that, you leave in the hands of God because eventually, their ways will catch up with them. I am sorry for what you had to go through, but unfortunately, the law is not always on your side. I was lucky to get a judge that saw through the whole thing and dismissed the case. For somebody who is willing to file false charges against you and imprison you, I am just thankful to God I did not wind up with such a person and have my freedom to pursue my life.

My suggestion would be to make an attempt to contact USCIS or ICE just to cover your behind and do the right thing. If they will not do anything, then leave your fiancee to God. Sometimes the authorities are too overwhelmed with cases that they will overlook things like this. But be rest assured that your fiancee's information is in a database somewhere and will pop up whenever any petition is filed in the future. Thank God they do fingerprinting so people don't just change their names or passports and apply again. Don't burden yourself with such people, you have a whole life ahead of you. Don't give up. The right person will come.

  12. I would be very careful and cautious about requesting an expedite. I have heard many say "just try, you have nothing to lose." I don't agree with that. I would not request an expedite unless you really have an emergency situation. USCIS will not move your case ahead of another unless for a worthy cause. Your emergency should be unique to you and not a common problem. If you make an inappropriate request for expeditious handling of your petition, this could result in added delays. A USCIS officer will normally pull your file, make a determination to deny your request. if no real emergency exists, and most probably return your case back to the end of the line, thereby slowing your case. So some may get lucky and get approved for expedite when no real emergency exist (most likely misrepresented their situation to USCIS), I would be very careful that I only pursue an expedite for good and worthy cause. Besides, it's folks who misrepresent themselves to USCIS who create the problems for the rest of us, because now we all have to be treated with caution. If everyone was honest, it would not matter it you were CSC or TSC, we would all be breezing through. Let's do our part and be honest, and just pray for patience. I'm not suggesting anyone here is being dishonest. Just telling it like it is.

  13. Thanks Kay&Lay. You cannot let your timeline stress you. I need my fiancee by me for several reasons, besides the fact it is very rough and lonely without her. Thanks to Skype and work, the days tick by, albeit slowly. But what can you do but wait and wait. Considering how government agencies work, and the heavy load of petitions and paperwork USCIS has to process on a daily basis, I think they are doing an awesome job! Despite my disappointment at being denied the first time, I think the CO could have ascertained a bona-fide relationship with more questions having read some of the questions here on this forum, but when they have thousands of interviews to conduct, then I don't blame some of them for coming to a quick negative conclusion. It's not their job to prove a bona-fide relationship for me. I failed to do that when I made a mistake on the form. Just remember that this is also a national security issue and that a lot of these relationships are fraudulent. So, we innocent and bona-fide ones get thrown into the mix. Funny thing is that it's usually the fraudulent ones who get approved and find their way here because they do their homework.

Just pray hard and all will be well. Keep busy like I do and do the things that make you happy (but stay out of trouble (F)). I only wish USCIS realizes how much it is costing me to maintain this long distance relationship. Just the calls and Skype alone is enough to break you.

Hang in there...you're not doing too bad at all. Hopefully, by year's end 2014, you should be united for good with your loved one.

  14. Journey started July 2013. Made to Embassy interview in January 2013. Visa denied because meeting date on I-129F I submitted did not match date answered by my fiance(she had the correct date). Petition returned to USCIS via NVC. Took a while and then I was told case closed because I-129F Petition had expired though I had been assured by embassy staff that petition does not expired until you have been denied finally. Maybe I heard wrong. Was told to start fresh application. Did so, and petition was returned saying I-129F form was outdated (same form I had used for previous filing, but I failed to notice the expiration date at the bottom). Used the updated I-129F and filed again Jume 2014. Well, my timeline tells the rest of the story.
I'm putting out this story just to let everyone know that stupid little mistakes cost you time and denial. Don't get frustrated. Get someone different from you to check your forms and documents for correction. Even with all this, my petition still had a wrong date (typed a 2 instead of a 5 because 5 is directly above 2 on the numeric keypad). I just corrected that mistake with CSV and got a text message they have corrected it. Folks, go over all documents submitted or to be submitted, as you don't want to find out you made a mistake at the interview level. :dancing: Good luck to all!
