If things still the same as months ago, there's no problem on that. I had my appointment a day before the interview which means it was 100% sure that my medical exams wouldn't be there in time. They will just ask if she did her medical and if everything is ok they will issue the visa as soon as her medical reach their hands. lots of people do their medical exams close to the interview date, so they are pretty much used to it. But if you are really worried and can't wait (which I understand perfectly) you can send an e-mail to Tania (dr`s secretary) and ask her to give you Correios track number for your medical package so you can know when it reaches the consulate. All good now, we were approved yesterday!
It was a very quick interview less than 5 minutes, surprised me. Now is just wait they delivery my passport

So far it has been a mix of emotions! I still don't know what to do with all of that! lol
I already booked our tickets to Rio, we're arriving there on a Saturday, so we're going to have some time to know that beauty! Will be our first time there
Brendon is attending the interview with me not much because of the interview but more because of Rio so I don't need to be there by myself, you probably know, Rio is awesome but isn't the safest place. He's staying one week only, but I think is totally worth it.

Awesome news, Rio consulate finally e-mailed us! My interview will be on April 7! Already! Omg, so many things to look, book tickets, hotel etc...

I didn't want to say anything but oh well. Isn't their fault for this long waiting! Why be so rude? sometimes people doesn't make a study case on this forum to post something. I confess that before I used to feel angry and upset when I read that someone got their noa2 so fast, but that's MY problem and I know they have nothing to do with the backlog or anything else related to this whole waiting game, they're just damn lucky people; I think Sean post was so innocent and I'm pretty sure he didn't wrote that to tease you guys.
If you aren't that lucky one to get an noa2 fast enough then when you see another post like that, you should at least hold you fingers breathe and go look 9gag, cute animal, baby pictures, do yoga etc until those feeling get off from you.

At this point, may/june wedding sounds more accurate, I would say June. March is already there, even if you get an approval this month you guys would have to rush a lot and rely on luck for not have any kind of delay, always remember that Murphy's law totally exist in this process. Sad but true.
October was the last time I saw my fiancé, he came visit in september after being deployed for 2 months then we went to U.S and I stayed for a month. We agree that would be the last visit while we wait for this process then when I get my approval (inteview) he will fly to Brazil and we going to travel back together. I want him here when is time to move, I'll need moral support and luggage space lol.

If you guys can see each other, DO IT!
Maybe the odds works in you favor and you get approval just because you travelled ahaha

Seems useless talk with this tier II, don't get upset with that because seems like they are clueless as much we are, actually I guess we know more than them. They didn't finish June yet and July fillers reach 5 months now on Dec which means we HAVE to hear something this month or next. Hopefully this month. The average time for approval is 170 days (according to Josh1987 from June thread, if you guys didn't check what he's doing yet you should totally run there! He is being amazing and really helpful!)

My fiancé had to change his flight and the 24hour thing works, but they make it really confusing he had to talk to few people before talk with a good employee who explained everything and helped him with that. So good luck! And I hope everything goes well and you don't need to deal with airlines companies.
