Hey guys I'm just so bummed out today. Our NOA1 date is June 23rd (I thought it was the 25th but apparently it's the 23rd) so techincially I guess we are still in the "normal" processing timeframe. --- Define normal. Anyway, I just hate the lack of communication here lately. I was so pumped up and hopeful when Josh told us about all the approvals they were pumping out last week. Then this week has been like SILENT. What are they doing?
I know I'm close to the end but man it's hard. I've been so positive this whole time. But today I'm just bummed. Anyone else out there that can relate?

I feel ya Brett40000 we are on day 168 and still NOTHING. It's sad but it's coming.
It's funny how our friends on here are all frustrated and all "OH MY GAH IT"S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN" then the second they get approved they're like "We got approved!!! Keep the faith everyone! Yours is coming too!"
I'm not making fun ... it's cute how quickly deperation changes to assurance and hope. Don't worry, brett40000, it IS coming and it WLL happen for us!

A few thoughts:
- All of you who are having local meetings, keep us updated please!
- That false alarm email this morning made my "senoritis" even worse!
- Congrats to all the recent approvals!!
God bless everyone and your journey!
-
It appears that they simply got the website working now and they are just updating everyone's case. What we all got in our emails was like another NOA1 - lame. But at least its progress.
-
I just got the same email... what is this?? I feel like it's a new thing. I have never heard of anyone else getting these.
-
Yeah that actually makes way more sense.
It does! Thank you!!

I don't know mine either. When I logged on the USCIS web it said that my ARN was changed on June 24th. Don't sweat it!!
I'm not super worried about it. I just wonder why, when I login USCIS website, it says nothing about an ARN or anything about it being changed. Weird..
-
June 26 was the NOA1 date. June 30 is when A# was changed! So keeping my fingers crossed.
Oh wow! Our NOA1 date is June 25 so maybe that means mine is on someone's desk as well
Thanks so much for updating us! My only concern/question is about the ARN. I have no idea anything about that. Should my fiance have one? I feel like I should know about this but I don't.

Hello Guys, So I have an update! I had a 9:30 appt in my local field office here in Buffalo. The officer there was super nice. She told me how they were themselves frustrated with the new website and the heavy number of inquiries they get. I told her about how i had been calling the NCSC and that the answers were different everytime. She told me that they were just contractors and dont have much info! So she logged into the internal system. She said that my case is in pre-decision activity at this time and that the inital review was completed in the last week of november on last week monday. It shows her that the case is now with the FBI for verification and that I should have an answer in about 2 weeks max. She also told me that if for any reason I dont see an update on my case in 2 weeks aka prior to christmas to just make another info pass appt and to come see them and then they can put an expedite on the case if need be! So lets see where this all goes! She also informed me that since its in pre-decision activity, there is a high likelyhood that there is not going to be an RFE! I am not holding her words true until I have my NOA2 in hand! Praying for everybody here!
Ps. Congrats to everyone who has been getting their approvals!
That is great news! What is your file date?

People keep saying that she will be banned, but I don't think so. From what I understand the bans only apply if she spends 180 days or more. If she has only been here for 34 days, then the bans wouldn't apply, unless there is some other ban that I'm not aware of.
The fact that she entered illegally is a problem because it will lead to more questions, but if she leaves now and does it the right way, tell the truth, etc, she shouldn't be barred from reentering the US legally assuming she is otherwise eligible.
What I don't know however is if she will be required to prove that she spent less than 180 days here, or if the burden of proof is on them.
This is a great point. And I agree. People keep telling you to "do the right thing" but you clearly know what the right thing is. You don't need a speech on ethics, you need to know what to do NOW... with the circumstances you have in front of you. I'm not an attorney and I don't pretend to know the legalities or specifics of bans, etc. HOWEVER, I would say this: If you can afford to take a couple years and live in Nicaragua, then y'all could marry there and then apply for a spouse visa. By then, things may be cooled down a litlte bit. A spouse visa is a litlte more expenive and tends to take a litlte longer than a K-1 fiance visa but at least you could be married and together while you're going through it.
My fiance and I are approaching the end of the fiance visa process and the distance is killer. But we decided to do that route instead of marrying in his country and being "stuck" there while we wait for our visa. Everyone's situation is different. You just need to ask yourself what are your goals/priorities. For us, being married was obviously #1. Then you have to ask yourself WHERE WHEN and HOW? For us, we wanted to get married (where) in the US (when) as soon as possible and (how) with all of my family and friends. So we chose that route.
If your priority is to marry in the US, then go the fiance visa route. If your priority is to simple get married and you are less concerned with where that happens, get married in Nic and go the spouse visa route.
It sounds to me like the only thing you need to figure out is if you should: (a) ask for a waiver now or (b) get her out of the US and then be honest on your application. As far as her getting out undetected: I know, according to OUR knowledge, it seems like it should be an easy fix. Just leave on the boat you came on. But immigration officers and USCIS know EVERYTHING. Things that you don't even know about yourself... they find it out. So be very aware of that!
Best of luck with everything and keep us updated on all of this!!

{ Let's have a little change of scenery, shall we? }
Have any of you fellow June filers picked a wedding date yet? I've seen a little talk about it on here but not recently. My fiance and I are trying to settle in on one so that we can start hiring vendors, etc. but it's risky business, as we all know. I think we have had like 3 different tentative dates now, haha!
Anyway, we are circling around April 11. Our file date is June 25th so we hope to be hearing something soon. And we should, according to Josh's wonderful data analyzing.
So... what do you all think? Is April 11 too risky? Do you have a date yet?
Let's lighten the mood a little

Ashionso: I called the national hotline and specifically asked for her name, badge number, and then said I want a service request management tool inquiry number. I think i had her a little off guard. She got it to me. Now I got one of these before and asked for an expedited service and got a denial that night before. This time I am asking for a decision. The number sequencing looks exactly the same but the one I asked for an expedited service had a E.....this one where i am asking for a decision has a D. I am awaiting a denial again tonight... Will let everyone know. I have a funny feeling though all of these calls are logged and requests etc etc. and eventually these people are going to want to get rid of my "disruptive" file.
Thank you, Brett, I would try again but I'm just exhausted and not very hopeful that it is making a difference. I hope it works for you!! Good luck and yes please do keep us updated!

Well did you e-mail tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov? It sounds like you've just called them. Brett received the automated reply. I received the same exact e-mail when I e-mailed them about my service request.
If you have put in a service request, they might send you an additional e-mail. After I received that exact same e-mail, an officer sent me a follow-up about a week later. Of course it was vague and unclear, but it was a response! If you haven't put in a service request, then I am guessing that's the only thing you'll get back...
Yes I sent them an email. I got the automated response which is WHY I called NCSC ... again. That's when I was told (again) that I could not get an inquiry number/ put in a service request.

Hey guys I wrote the texas service center and got a result.... This was the reply..... So this time i called the national hotline and received a SRMT inquiry number. Now in 2 weeks I have some ammunition to address the texas service center directly with. Good luck use that earlier mentioned e mail address.
Thank you for contacting the Texas Service Center (TSC) National Customer Service Center (NCSC) Follow Up e-mail account. The purpose of this account is to assist petitioners, applicants or their authorized representatives who have contacted the NCSC number (1-800-375-5283) with an inquiry and have not received a response within 15 days. This auto reply message will serve as a record of our receiving your inquiry. However, please note that you will not receive a response to your inquiry if you did not first contact the NCSC number (1-800-375-5283) or if you are not the petitioner, applicant or a designated representative of the case you are inquiring about.
If you are requesting a status update you must contact the NCSC. We will not respond to status update inquiries.
In order to assist you in a timely manner, please include the following information with your inquiry (send a follow-up email including this information if it was not included in your first request to this e-mailbox):
· The service request management tool (SRMT) inquiry number that you were given when you called the NCSC; if you have called the NCSC and they informed you they are unable to complete a SRMT please provide a brief explanation.
· The date that you contacted the NCSC;
· Your name and receipt number and/or A-number; and
· If available, the name of the NCSC Customer Service Representative you spoke with.
The TSC will review your e-mail and respond through this e-mail account or through the US Postal Service.
If you feel the decision on your case was made in error, to protect your rights you must follow the regulations and file any necessary motion or appeal within the allotted timeframe.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I did the exact same thing and NCSC said I couldn't get an inquiry number because I am "not outside of normal processing time" --- same ole same ole they say every time.
I said, "Well, when WILL I be outside of that time? It's been almost 6 months!" And she said, "Not until the website says one day passed your NOA1 date." Which for us, is June 25th so I can't file an inquiry until the website says June 26.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WE GET A DIFFERENT ANSWER DEPENDING ON WHO CALLS AND WHO THEY TALK TO?? #annoyed

I've been getting the error online for over a month now and for the first time when I call to check on the status of the case instead of hearing that the last change my status was on June 16th when the alien registration number changed, I'm now hearing something along the lines of "status for this receipt number cannot be provided at this time". I'm hoping this is good news and means they are working on my case but I just wanted to see if anyone else is or has experienced this.
I'm not able to see anything online and I stopped calling a couple of weeks ago because I got the same response every.single.time.
Question though... how can you see something about an alien number? I keep seeing people on here talking about it but I have heard/seen nothing about that. But then again, I could be staring right at it
I sure do! Please note I did get an automated response right after, asking me to send information regarding the date and time I called. I didn't send it.

Hi there!
I am unable to check the status of my petition online now, for a month. It was recommended to me that I email for a follow up.When I enter my Case Number it states:Validation Error(s)You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
- At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.
When I log in and click the SRC number the page is blank. I am close to approaching the 6 month mark from my NOA1.I would like to know what the current status is for SRC1490308575, and when I will hear back on my petition.I understand that this is a busy time and I thank you so much for all the work you do!Thank you so much! I just sent an email. Maybe we will see results. My NOA1 date is June 25 so I'm not surprised that I have not received anything yet, but getting one earlier than expected would be GREAT! I'm going to include their response to my email in my letter to my congressmen and senators!
Thank you so much for sharing this!

I tried to submit an inquiry on the USCIS website but it gave me a message saying that my case was still in the normal processing time and an inquiry could not be submitted at this time. My file date is June 25.
Thank you!!
I just logged in again to the USCIS website in fear that I had mistaken something and not only does it say that our I-129F has been approved it stated that on 11/20 my request for inquiry was assigned to someone and and that again was assigned on 11/24 because no one had responded to it. I think that is funny, like they were complaining about their own system. And then on 11/29 they sent a response to my inquiry and then again on 11/29 it was completed. #######, so I guess my inquiries were actually doing something?? I had to request an inquiry several times before they would let me. I can also see in another area that a request to expedite my case was made today (from my appointment) and is still pending...lol! CALL AND REQUEST AN INQUIRY!! It is impossible to know if that helped my situation or not but if it could help you try it is worth it.

Ok, so how do we request an inquiry??
Thank you!!

Hello All,
I love seeing all of your updates! We are June 25 filers and we still haven't heard anything. But that's to be expected at this point.
I was wondering: Those of you who are looking at a list/chart somewhere and are getting information, where are you seeing this? For example, my fiance is from Costa Rica. How can I see which K-1, June, TSC, filers from Costa Rica have been approved?
Thanks everyone!

Sooo I saw the strangest thing ever.
We the texas folks have for once in the history of Igor's list. 1 more approvel then California ???
They are really slacking there lately.
Wait... do what? Maybe a silly question (I'm new to all this, remember? haha) but what is Igor's list? Is it the list of approvals?
If Texas has one more than Cali, isn't that good news?

Also, any of the April and May TX filers were transferred to Cali. This should help speed things up for us, yes?
