  1. Ours was almost exactly 4 months, however I know we were blessed. Good luck on your journey.

Got an e-mail (which is considered NOA 1) in late June stating that paperwork was accepted on June, 24. Noticed that petitioning parties filed on that day (which would be me, too) got accepted for an initial review on July, 29. It has been 7(seven) full weeks since, no response or anything...I understand that everyone's case/timeline is unique but any idea how much longer to wait, approximately, until I get NOA 2?

  2. If it makes anyone feel better I sent mine end of April, got my NOA 1 beginning of May and I haven't heard anything either. I am also trying to be happy for everyone who filed after and has gotten approved. Its really hard though, and Im super frustrated also. I haven't seen my fiancé since April, and it feels like years  Still praying tho.

Got my NOA1 on April 22, got transfer on August 11 and still waiting, just like you said confuse about May people getting approved before us... :clock::(

  3. Just wondering which countries are low fraud vs high, and does it matter where you live vs which country your from? My Fiance is from India, but works in Saudi...just wondering. Do they process all apps by country ? Or just certain ones. Thanks ;)

Couldn't agree with you more! I (naively) thought that being from the UK might have some sort of positive influence - low fraud, financially secure etc etc but we hit our 5 month mark today.

Keep smiling everyone, we will get there and, as my dad says - nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

  4. So are they only transferring April and newer apps from TSC? Sorry was trying to follow everyones comments, seems like that, everyones going a little crazy on posts. Hopefully they could just start approving all of them, would be nice anyways.

With a lot of TSC topics forming and the march section with some CSC providing false hope for us TSC filers i figure lets make one.

That way we can keep a trend and keep it clean.

Right now last update was 28th. So i could even be considered a April filer. Its frustrating for my fiancee and I. She is taking the whole wait very hard. Normally I would be visiting her around this time so its depressing for her.

  5. All I know is they are trasferring alot of apps from TSC to other locations, mine included, we just dont know where yet :(

    Hello-

I am trying to find out if anyone has any info ....

Our application was accepted April 1st 2014, We haven't received a Request for more info..I literally sent 3 1/2 pounds of paper...evidence, pics, receipts from traveling to Belgium.. I have called and they said last week (8/7/14) they were processing Dec 17th of 2013, this week (8/11/14) they were processing applications for Dec 30th 2013...So Texas processing times have gone from 5 months to 6 months which us at Sept 1 2014 for our app to be processed..right? They said I could file an official inquiry after that, (if the Texas Service center doesn't change times) I guess I am just looking for validation that no news is good news right now, and is it possible the next notification could be for decision or interview?? There's no way to plan a wedding... make travel plans...start our lives together..... Please someone give me some advoce...we are just trying to be patient

    Thanks for any response :)

  6. :( My heart goes out to you and your fiancé for your loss. Will keep you in my prayers, and yes I hope we all get to be with our loved ones quickly. Take care.

Thank you for your support. My MIL passed away this morning. We are heartbroken. She was an amazing women, I am happy I got to know her before she got ill. I can't make it to the funeral, but I will go as soon as I can, and this time I am planning to stay as long as I am allowed (I'm hoping NOA2 will come while I am there). I can't stand another goodbye and knowing I won't see him for months, specially now when he needs me. I wish you good luck and praying for fast approval for all of us.

  7. Sorry to hear about your MIL, cancer is awful. It does suck when you cant comfort your fiancé, mine has lost his Aunt and his best friends father past two days ago. I wish they had an easier process to be with the ones we love, its no ones fault we are in different countries. Good luck to you.

It was extremely hard, and it took me weeks to put myself together. I had to come back for work, and at that time we were not aware of this delay at tsc. We were planing to get married by december. And today we received bad news, my fiance's mom got ill, she was diagnosed with cancer, and has only few days left...It's really heart breaking seeing someone you love so much suffer, and I can't be with him to hug him and give him my support. I will try to book my flight for next week, even if that means I will lose my job. And you are right, what doesn't break us, make us stronger. I'm praying for fast approval for all of us.

  8. I see you got your first Noa right around the same time as me too. I would never have left him if I spent a whole month with him, that must have been super hard to leave him :( My fiancé is finishing up holiday now, and I really wanted to see him. But I work with my Mom and she cant run the business by herself, so I cant leave again. Im trying to take it as a sign from God, that we need to just wait. What doesn't break us will make us stronger. Good luck on a speedy approval. :)

I feel the same, we spent a month together in May, and leaving him was so hard, it took me a month before feeling a bit normal and continuing with my everyday life in my country. I'm thinking about taking days off at work and going for another visit in September, but knowing that I will have to leave him again is killing me.

  9. Am I alone in thinking the way I do? Honestly after being with my fiancé in April, and having to leave him once.....I cant do it again. Unfortunately due to work on his & my end, its pretty much impossible for us to meet up again until our K-1 goes threw. But at the same time, I don't think I could walk away a second time...not with 8,000+ miles between us. He also agrees, so we facetime 2/4+ hours everday and use whatsapp 24/7. Are we the only couple that cannot bear to be together because we cant stand to be apart, sounds crazy but being together just to be apart hurts sooo much. Thanks

  10. Thanks for your post, at least I might just get one RFE than :) That is awesome that you got approved so quick. I swear that Fiance Visa show made everyone wanna marry abroad, its such a slower process now.

My husband and I used blue ink instead to make distinctive from the rest of forms which was used black color for alphabets. In fact some members here got RFE because the adjudicator thought their letter intent of marry was a copy by using a black ink. We did not get RFE and got approved in 38 days. It was happened back in August 2013.

  11. Thanks a lot for all the info, I really appreciate it :) I have gotten a little scared of asking questions, some people on other posts get nasty :(

There are some people that either don't know what they are doing or they are just scamming people. I remember way back when, when my mom and I became citizens, during the oath ceremony, the guy handing out the certs. sent us back to the main office because the guy who took my mom's picture for naturalization cert., took her picture while facing right instead of left. This was back when the pictures weren't front face. They are taking professional photos and they should know what the requirements are. If one goes to a photo business that takes "passport" photos, they should be aware of the requirements.

Now here's what you could do and some people have suggested as well. If he has a digital camera or even a smartphone with good quality and flash, he can have someone take the picture for him. He can stand in front of a white blanket or wall and make sure there are no shadows in the background or his face. It's easier than it sounds, trust me. I do my own passport photos and print them on my own printer. It not only saves me a trip to the pharmacy, but around $10 to $20 for the pictures.

The dept. of state website has a decent tool that allows you to crop the photo so that it's exactly 2x2. You can then take the usb and print it somewhere like staples, walgreens, or any other place that prints photos if you don't have your own printer or photo paper. It's much better than having him pay for more photos and on top of that ship them back to you. I will post a link to the tool.
