Once all the paperwork is in and you have followed all the info on your email they sent, they will send you another email with the appt information. You can not schedule your own appt, but if you check my timeline it might help some. Good luck your almost done, it moves pretty quickly now
congratulation for your approval. My fiance is getting a k1 visa from Saudi Arabia too, how were u guys able to make an appointment in the Riyadh embassy? we have been waiting for 2 weeks checking online for an interview date, but there are no slots opening at all. Could you please let me know what is the fastest way to make an appointment?
thanks in Advance

I left my answer short and sweet, I don't believe it has to be a long answer, just to the point.

Send everything you have, better than not being prepared.
Guys, I have a question. my fiancée from the Philippines said I need to send these documents to her ..read blow
1. form I-134 (AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT) original ink not scan copy
2. internal revenue tax ( 2011, 2012 and 2013)
a. form 1040
b. W2
3. Certificate of employment (indicate the annual salary)
4. bank certificate (signed by manager
(indicate the open account date and current amount
a. bank statement in a year)
my question is:
1. do I need to send her all 3 tax years 2011, 2012, and 2013 ???? I heard I can only send 2013 tax documents
2. I can provide 1040 tax forms all does years but I don't know if I can find my W2 ..is it going to effect me if I only send her my 1040 forms ???????
please let me know what you think........thanks

Possibly ours stayed on ready til 8 days after interview, and went to issued, although we are still waiting for passport.
My fiancee had interview on 7th Nov and she was told to submit docs with passport. so on 10th Nov we submitted her documents and passport. when I check Ceac site for status on Npv 10th it showed administrative processing status updated Nov 7th
today early morning it showed to updated on 12th status = ap. but now at night it shows READY for interview. Can someone tell me wht it means. is going to get approved soon etc?

Just wondering those of you that have had a K1 visa issued, how long did it take after it said Issued on the CEAC website until you actually received your passport. I know it varies , just wondering. Thank you.

One of the questions they asked my fiancé at his interview was did I send him money.
Thank you for your answers and suggestions? Keep em coming!!
Yes, I sent him money about 3 times (i'm a single mom so he never really asks me for anything, it was my decision mostly around his bday and things like that) Why?
Do you guys think the late divorce will be an issue? i was separated for 5 years but he refused to help pay for it, which on a single mom 1000 usd is a big burden... I have my lease and letter from my landlord which states how long I've lived with just my kids at the new address. I also put him through child support, which shows our different address, etc. I do have some proof that i've been separated for 5 years. I'm just afraid that they will pick on why i didn't pay for the divorce rathen than pay for a flight to go see my babe, but honestly i used some credit cards and i just wanted to see him... a visa what not the first thing on my mind.

Congratulations
At the risk of starting a topic just to gloat, I actually wanted to thank all of you here at Visa Journey for helping us get through the K1 stage!
VJ has been an invaluable source of information as we jumped through all of USCIS' hoops and we managed to make it through an RFE through the whole process!
Thanks again for all the help, and I'm sure we will be referring back to you soon for AOS.

I agree with everyone else, we did it without a lawyer in 6 months, my friend had a lawyer and it took them 8 months. Just follow directions, and pay close attention to details. You can do it by yourself. Good luck on your Journey.

Yes probably, sorry wrong place. Its hard to sometimes get thru and other days its pretty easy...but good luck and God bless you, thanks.
it starts with CR which I guess Cairo, I think I will wait till tomorrow and if it didn't work I will contact them again..And congratulation for the approval

It should be something like EGY2014...... , The first three are the country abbreviated, than the year, followed by the date, than the last three digits are the order it came in at the embassy. Hope that helps some. Good luck.
Hi Vj members. We called NVC Yesterday and they gave us our case number and they said that our papers left to Egypt yesterday, but the problem is when I try to check on the CEAC with the case number they gave us it says invalid application ID OR case number!!Should we contact them, or is it takes some time of them to update their system with the new case number?and how the case number looks like is it two letters and 11 number? maybe we didn't get the full number! Thanks in advance. -
CONGRATULATIONS

I am always looking for help on here from others who have applied for a K-1 visa in Saudi, and there is little information, even embassy reviews. So if anyone on here has been threw a K1 in Saudi, please give us some insight. We are at the end stages, still waiting for the embassy to give us an interview date. What I am looking for is information on how long it took to get an interview, and a date, how the whole interview went, any info about your experiences would help us so much. Thanks-Stacey

I thought waiting for the NOA 2 was hard, now that we are done with everything waiting for the Embassy to schedule an appointment is torture. Good luck on your journey some are definitely quicker than others. Tkcr

Im going to start this by saying you are very blessed, Im 8,000 miles away from my Fiance, and I haven't seen him in over 6 months. Due to work and family I cant even get to him unti next year. Everyday seeing him on facetime kills me, because I miss the way he smells & the touch of his hand on mine. The softness of his lips.....I miss everything. Its not a silly post, I write ones like this frequently
, and I thought once we had our NOA2 things would go quicker. But wow waiting on an interview date sucks...to be soo close yet so far away from him. I wish you good luck and that you can be with your SO asap. Tkcr
...and it's only been 2 months. Sorry if this is a silly post (or if it is in the wrong place - is there a "Waiting Forever" forum?), but what have others done to pass the time between K1 NOA1 and NOA2?
Vin and I live about 30 minutes from each other (Niagara Falls ON/Buffalo NY) so we can see each other every day, but man it would be nice to just live together.

Are you talking about just mailing things into Saudi, where are you in Saudi? After our NOA2 was approved I used UPS to send all the other important documents. ( It cost a lot more than mail, but worth it) On average when I send him mail or letters, it takes a month to get to him
Just make sure when you send important stuff, you do it all at once and save some time and money. Tkcr & good luck. -Stacey

Share with me , those of you that have gotten to this point (or past). Did you get an actual letter from the embassy with instructions , or did you get an email that told you how to proceed. I guess Im a little confused as to what an actual appointment letter vs a packet 4. I know that other Embassy's vary, so I was just trying to figure this out. Thanks everyone. BTW this is the email I got:
Ms. Stacey,
This email is to inform you that we are in receipt of your fiancé’s K1 visa file. Please have him follow and complete instructions provided in the below link;

Appointment letter? I have seen sample ones on google, they say they come from the NVC and go to the Beneficiary. When are they sent to the beneficiary, and what exactly is it. Also I received an email from the Saudi Embassy and we followed all the instruction up to mailing back packet 3 info. Also it says to call and make an appointment and on a different part of their site it says you apt will be mailed out to you. Does anyone know which is true. We are so close, yet soooo far away from this Visa acceptance. It seems like their is NO ONE going threw this in Saudi, since I cant find any information anywhere which answers my questions clearly. So if anyone can help me I would so appreciate it. Oh also the whole country is shutdown on holiday until the 13th

Hey Everyone,
I have a question -- After receiving the NOA2 notification (for K1 visa) does the petitioner (US citizen) get anything else mailed to them?
Or is mailing transactions now between the beneficiary (foreign fiancee) ?
Thanks
The petitioner does get a letter from the NVC, mine just said that they were forwarding the information on to my fiancés country embassy. Than I got an email from the embassy where he lives that said they are in receipt of my fiancés K1 visa file, and a link to follow with instructions. My fiancé has yet to get any mail or emails from anyone but me, but that's ok with us. Good luck

I know that I am supposed to send my fiancé a copy of the original K1 packet, and a lot of other papers. Question is when? Now after the Noa2, or do I wait for the NVC letter. Do I send it postal, UPS, FedEx? I have read information which says to just send it, but not specifically when. Thanks , any help is appreciated. -Stacey
-
We actually did new ones waiting for the RFE, so he does have them when asked. I was positive they were going to want them at the CSC, guess they are getting tired of all the petitions or something. Definitely got lucky tho.
It's a good thing that your petition was approved, but when you go to the interview you definitely want to make sure that the background is not red lol.

Waiting and being away from the one you love is awful, and its really hard. You just have to hang on to the memories of being together, and look forward to spending the rest of your life with your soulmate. Its hard watching approvals, and your still waiting. Until your with your love one theres not much consolation, good luck on a speedy approval.
unpaid traffic tickets in India, how do they affect a visa?

Why don't you go visit him there. By the time he gets a tourist visa, comes here, than goes back and you file could be up to 2 years. Im pretty sure that unless he has been in trouble with law, parking tickets wont matter. Im amazed he has so many, the police don't usually care too much about that there.
