Status finally changed to "Ready" on the CEAC Website and it's officially in the Cairo embassy. ? Medical is done and we r just waiting til interview date: January 11, 2015....let the waiting continue & the countdown begin!

To be honest Im still in shock up to this point since the NVC Rep told me we have interview date. I was doubting myself and the next day we got the P4 Email. Im still in shock lol and my husband is on his way to Cairo right now for his medical.
Things will go by faster from here on out my friend. Best of luck to get a quick interview date!! NVC told me last week that they'd be scheduling interviews this week for mid to end of January. There's still hope! There was 3 of us waiting to get interview scheduled for Egypt and we all got one this week. I suggest u call friday and ask them. Then if u dont have interview, ask them when should u expect to hear news about interview? Try to call early morning, when they open and the reps are usually nice & give u more details. ? Best of luck and let me know if u have any questions my friend! ? luv u sister!

Thanks my friend! It took 27 days for them to schedule the interview since we got CC and his interview will be in 26 days ? i remember before it would take them months to schedule and interview but now seems like they're like most embassies. Hope u get good news this week since they will be scheduling this week. Praying for u my friend!

Hello my dearest friend! I was hoping to see ur CC today ? ur so close! And dont give up hope on interviews for Cairo....we just got ours today! His interview will be on Jan 11th!!! So close! Praying for ur CC my dear friend.

Amen to that!! This is Soloenta's week!! Lets all continue to pray for her and send her good vibes!! NVC told me last week they will start scheduling 2nd round of interviews for mid to end of January...so CC along with interview date would be amazing!!! Will be checking this week also for Soloenta's good news!!
Hope this week nvc speeds up and alot of u waiting can finally get CC. ?

I just called NVC and spoke with Karla. She told me:
-No interview scheduled yet for us
- They have already finished scheduling interviews for the first part of January 2015.
- They will be scheduling round 2 of interviews starting next week.
So I guess we will need to wait until next week to find out IF we get a January interview.
SOLOENTA..........Praying you get CC soon! We got our CC right at 60 day mark but I remember alot of people with checklist got CC before their 60day mark. Good luck my friend!

also per my research i noticed that the average time from CC til the actual interview is about 55 days so if Im right & nothing has changed recently at the Egypt embassy we should prob get our interview on January 12th or around that week. Hoping to get January interview next week ?

And I hope we get interview soon also. I was looking at other egypt members profiles & most got an interview date a month after CC. So now we r very positive about getting a January interview ? I will keep u posted my friend dont worry ?
Also just so everyone else knows, I received the official CC email this morning (1 week after CC).

Called NVC & they confirmed we got case complete as of Nov. 18th (No interview scheduled yet). I checked last night like 11pm PST and status online still said PAID. But this morning around 4am status said N/A.
Thank you to VJ community for all your support and advise. Thank you Saylin for taking the time to update and have your wiki available for everyone going thru this!
