Thank you so much my friend!! I called my husband right after I got confirmation from NVC and he got REALLY HAPPY & EXCITED. He asked me like 10 times are you sure & you called NVC to confirm everything approved right? lol. I'm not sure how long it's taking for interviews to egypt right now but I will ask in the interview thread soon!! Per my research I had done, Egypt seemed to be back to normal like everyone else so we r hoping for a January interview. (Fingers crossed) but we got thru NVC with NO CHECKLISTS (which I was really worried about). Best of luck my friend and I will keep you posted with our journey so you know what to expect once you get CC.

OMG!! AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A.........on hold right now with NVC to confirm CC........will keep you posted!!!

I called & no update. Nvc Told me to wait & count 60days after oct 7th? i think i dont wanna call anymore & just wait for a miracle email to appear in my inbox. Praying for u & everyone waiting for cc.
Side question....do u think whatever immigration reform obama will announce this week affect us....once again....& delay us more? I hope not. They should finish with us that been in this horrible process for such a long time. ?

Today is day 60 from when I sent IV & AOS together but still no news. When i called NVC last week they said they were reviewing my docs and to wait 60 days from my last scan date of 10/7 (i sent police check separate). Should I call NVC today again or wait out a few days? ?

Viber is an app that lets u call, text, & video for free as long as u both have viber. We have viber but internet isnt that great un egypt but it helps whenever wifi is available. ?

Yes we wait together. Imagine our husband's having the same interview date? How crazy would that be?! Lol ??
We'll go thru the process of whatever we need to do before they have their interviews ??

Called NVC & spoke with Rep: Max and he told me they've received all my documents and are currently under review but they go by the last scan date. ? i guess i have to wait moorreee ?
IV & AOS: Sept 18th
Scan date for police check: oct 7th (we got police check for lebanon late)

My scan date for AOS & IV is Sept 18th so hoping to hear something maybe next week and hope for a January interview. But now Im worried for AP since the Cairo embassy is known for that. ?

With all the randomness of NVC scan dates I have a feeling NVC will get thru Sept quicker and go thru October for a quick CC for u Soloenta. On the other thread i saw sept scan date along with oct 6th scan date. ?? So there's hope my friend. God willing soon we will be reunited with our loved ones for sure in 2015!! Insha'llah

I've gained so much weight with all this immigration journey stress and of course life. The saddest part is that i literally got a bald spot on the right side of my head. ? so alll to say...need to start eating healthier, go on a diet, get active, and not stress ? how is that possible with NVC?! Sorry just had to vent but Im glad NVC seems to be getting better.

I've seen they skipped if was AUG date with IV in Sept and they get reviewed together. Was Sept 12th scan date for a checklist?

I was told by Don our AOS's forms were accepted, Aug 10, then on Sept 24 Th I Amanda told me CC this I think was on a Friday I called Monday Sept 27Th to confirm I had a funny feeling and Reese said no they haven't even looked at your files yet. After three supervisors that didn't nothing I was told I needed to send my parents marriage certificate and told I didn't have to have it translated, this is my fault because i believed them. That's about it, I did the bestest I could to make it short.

Sorry been MIA since I sent my AOS & IV bc I was getting super stressed out & constantly ill so I just made myself busy so time just went by quicker, which it really did! I was just checking the last few pages to see what dates they're working on...looks like Sept 2nd!! That's good! My AOS & IV scan dates is 9/18 & later we sent Police Certs Scan Date 10/7....so I still have a little more waiting to do but I wanted to take a peek and see what dates they're currently working on and if they've gotten better or not. I still need to do a lot of catching up on this thread. Been praying for all my VJ fam!
Praying for NVC to speed up and that everyone here gets thru NVC and a speedy CC!!

Soloenta! I am so sorry to hear ur bad news u got this morning. Try calling first thing tomorrow morng and DEMAND to speak to a Supervisor....do u rememver the name of the supervisor that was gonna "Review" ur docs? If u dont its ok, i heard from other ppl here on VJ that Supervisor Silvia is there in the morngs and is really good. U should call and specifically ask for her and just tell the NVC Rep she told u to call her tuesday morning. Then hopefully they will transfer u over to her. If not, ask to speak to the call center Director if no supervisors are available. I worked at a call center and usually when people are upset they'd get transfered to supervisors and if a supervisor didnt resolve issue it would go to the director and at that time IT GOT HANDLED RIGHT AWAY. Of course its a little different here since its NVC & also scared they may "loose" one of ur docs. I am just really really sad how NVC messes with ppl going thru this process and we even pay to be treated this way ???. As everyone on this thread, I will be praying for u my friend and remember God has control of everything. LET'S ALL SAY A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR SOLOENTA TONIGHT SO THAT SHE SPEAKS TO A SUPERVISOR TOMORROW WHEN SHE CALLS AND GETS CONFIRMATION OF A CC.

It's only one day I don't think it matters much I would use the 18 Th Woooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo praying all goes well and you wont have to wait over 60 days.
Yes, my scan date is sept 18th & hope we dont wait 60days since NVC has been picking up the pace. We still need to keep praying so NVC goes back to the old 30day timeframe they previously had. ?

Praying for you to get CC with NO CHECKLIST! Remember that recently for some people, the status on CEAC website does not change to "N/A" and some people have found out they've gotten CCs by calling. Best of luck to you and everyone else waiting for a CC. If not today, for sure next week will be your CC week. Hang in there, you're almost there!
