We are waiting 2 months now and still are getting invalid receipt number.

I'm so confused about this. We applied for AOS a few months ago - got an RFE for financial info and sent it back a few weeks ago. Now USCIS website has changed to say:

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of July 9, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC-xyzzzzzzzzzz, for an interview.

I'm not sure what I was expecting to see there - but I definitely wasn't expecting to see anything about an interview! I thought they sent us a temporary green card next and then we had an interview near the end of the process about two and a half years from now.

So will we have no status until after this interview?

We have same thing here, even with the same date : July 9.

People in embassy are so unfair when it comes to K1... some ppl meet once with their fiance and they get the visa with zero problems.. and then there some some people that live together for years and get rejected because a CO had a bad "bitchy" day and is "retarded"... just so unfair!

NOA2 Oct 1st and still no info they don't return our emails and we couldn't get in contact with them through phone really annoying!

Our NOA2 was Oct 1st and we still have no info on our case our friends got theirs NOA2 Sept 19th and as well have no information regarding their documents and what is going on

I received NOA2 on October 6th,

I have been trying to reach NVC by email several times and still no case number, no information. Im not in the U.S so I can not call.

Any idea how much longer for thewm to process the visa and send papers to Embassy in Chile?

Anyone else that got approved around my date has any news from NVC?

We got our NOA2 on October 1st, and still no info from NVC Our friends got their September 18th and as well no feedback from NVC....

And we r still waiting for our case number from nvc... it's been over 3 weeks since received NO2! Spent hours on the line and did not got through and no response to our emails... grr!

We sent our docs end of June (26th) and got our NOA1 on the 2nd of July.... and we are still waiting for NOA2 . On the 8th of July our Alien Registration Number was changed, so our hopes and expectations were really high, but now we are starting to think that California Service Center went on mass vacations..

I had small white studs on my visa pic, and they denied it, so few minutes before my visa (tourist) interview I had to go get a new pic! It was ridiculous!

I am an american student finishing a bachelors in Poland and I work only enough to live and eat here in Poland. I am worried about the fact that both of my parents were cosponsors for student loans for either my sister or me and we already had problems consolidating loans because of the debt/income ratio. Does anyone have experience with the cosponsors having a large debt/income ratio? Has anyone heard about something like this being a problem? Even just about a student with no job yet moving back to America with a fiancee with 0 income for the past few years.
