I'm posting again because I forgot something very important. Thank you VJ & thank everyone on this site who gives their time freely to assist others. Without VJ, I could never have learned exactly what I needed to do in order to start & go through this process. Right before I found VJ, I seriously contemplated hiring an Immigration Attorney. I had the # dialed & almost hit send. But I received a message from someone on the TWOP forum regarding the 90-day Fiance show that I was watching at the time. She recommended VJ to me. So I checked it out & the rest is history. Once you find this place, you don't leave it. It's too good of a resource.
I realize I still have a long way to go from here, & VJ will be right there with me. And again, best of luck to everyone else on their journeys. I'm wishing for "speedy" processes for all.

I don't really get why she deserves any "credit". She talked to some mysterious person and got a heads up that they'll be shuffling to help with the backlog. So? That hasn't really helped us any because we still have no idea what's going on. We don't know where we're being sent or what it will mean for our timelines. You're being full of yourself, raven, and frankly I would appreciate it if you stopped hijacking this thread to gain empty praise. We're all here to figure out what's happening to our cases & to stick together as petitions that have been transferred. Sorry if this is offensive but she's rubbing me the wrong way with trying to get praise & attention for something that has no effect on us & throwing a fit when the moderators didn't acknowledge she was "right". I never even saw her original post so her "prediction" sure never helped me.

I look at it this way: either TSC transfers Jan-March to CSC (or VSC, it could happen) and works on April-July, or they transfer the recent ones and work on the older ones. Either way, it works out.

It does mean you will have a shorter wait but they will get to you when done with us. Unless they forget about us

Reading about case backlog during 2013 i came accross several artilces. One in particular from AILA caught my attention. This one stated that in 1994 the fee for filling an i-130 was $88. Since, the priced or fee has increased 330%. The Phillipino approved petitions served to show that procesing times and adjudication of i-130 petitions can be done in one month. As paying costumers. And at that... premium paying costumers. Should we not be processed as fast as possible ( possible is +- one month as shown by approved expedite petitions). The USCIS does not use 100% government money to fund their operations(gathered from USCIS description of business). They use our money. And just as i would with any other busines, i shoud complain to the better businesses bureau (but i cant. They are unlisted) instead i come here to vent... thanks for listening.

Finally after 6 and a half months, me and my fiance (US citizen petitioner) received email notification:
    "Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On August 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."
We filed at TSC January 21st and received NOA1 January 27th.
I was getting to the point where I though it might be a couple more months before we got the NOA2 and I was coming to terms with that and just trying to keep busy in the time being. But then it came!!!
The wait is most certainly frustrating and painful - but the feeling you get when you read that approved email makes it ALL worthwhile.
To all those still waiting, its coming!! And I wish you all the best.

Someone has written a letter suggesting we bombard the relevant agencies and media outlets over extended USCIS and now NVC wait times. We are suggesting a mass email to be sent out this week. Here is the content:
I am writing to you today as a part of a group that has been invisible. I am writing to you today to be seen. You are supposed to represent the people. I am writing to you today for help.
Each month a few hundred thousand I-130 petitions are filed with the USCIS from a US citizen on behalf of their spouse who is not a resident of the United States. These are people who have fallen in love and see no boarders in that. These are also people who trust their government and wish to go about bringing their loved ones into the country LEGALLY and do exactly as the system and government agencies ask.
We feel we are not being treated as law abiding tax paying citizens. We are being treated as if we do not matter, or even exist.
It is currently taking over one year in total to bring the spouse of a US citizen to the USA. With current laws giving priority to ILLEGAL immigrants we are being set aside. The problem is no one knows we are here. WE are hundreds of thousands of people being torn apart from our loved ones, our family, our friends and our human right to be happy. Children are forced to be separated from one of their parents. Wives are going through child birth without their spouses to witness the life they have created being introduced into the world. Some US Citizens are being forced to choose between their partner in life, and their right to live life in the country they were born in.
This is not what we were promised. This is not what we will allow to continue.
Here are some key points, questions and demands we would like to bring to your attention:
    - USCIS states that spouses of US Citizens do not need to wait in line for a visa to become available and that family unity is a priority
    - If US Citizens are at the top of the priority for the US government agencies why are we being set aside while ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION REFORM is being glorified and allowed special treatment?
    - US Citizens are put through stress and depression and as a result poor mental and physical health since the DACA program has slowed down processing times even more than in previous years
    - Thousands of dollars A DAY is being spent on ILLEGAL immigrants to be able to stay in the USA when we have to prove we can support ourselves with our own hard earned money and we are happy to do so
    - When calling the phone numbers we are provided for assistance during this process we get NO understanding and certainly very inconsistent answers, if any
    - We need to know why our government is spending so much money and resources on ILLEGAL immigrants and warfare and can’t provide enough employees to control a backlog for spouses of US Citizens to process their paperwork?
    - Certain processing time frames at NVC and USCIS are given and not abided by and we demand for a change in this
    - We demand for processing times to be controlled and fair at ALL steps of this process
    - We demand to be the priority as we are choosing to do what is right and legal
    - We demand to be treated more humanely
    - We demand for a change in processing times for Immigrant Visas IMMEDIATELY
We want to know why we are being punished.
We need to know that we are not invisible.
WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO BE IGNORED
    Sincerely,

The difference is that this is not a letter that will just get lost on it's way to Obama or a government official This is an official form to address our issues with the USCIS. But the letter too, should be sent. We also need to contact our officials in congress and senate as suggested before. We need to take action or things will not move along. It is not the first time this happens and when petitioners make noise things start to move forward. If we stand idle, they will just continue to do things the way they are doing them. The difference in wait time between the to Svc Center is just a kick in the nuts to me. It's disrespectful and inconsiderate.

I have to admit though...even though I am prepared for a lengthy wait for our visa and am trying hard to be patient, seeing more and more 20-30 day approvals from CSC is really really starting to annoy me. I know I know, don't read them, but that doesn't mean they aren't still happening. It just boggles the mind to think that there can be such a huge disparity between the two centers. What genius decided to send all VSC petitions to Texas rather than splitting them up between the two? How can they not see the huge difference between the two or choose not to do something about it?
I also understand there are those that waited 5-8 months for their NOA2, and they should really feel worse than us, but why should we accept that? I don't want to wait that long just because they did...not when there are so many getting approved in freakin May already. Yes it has only been 3 months...BUT, it will be 6, if not more, when all is said in done probably...I am looking ahead..lol.
Some folks say, what's a few months when we are going to spend the rest of our lives together...ok, I agree...but what's a few months when it could be a few weeks instead?
They say we are all in this together...no we aren't. We are in two different worlds. I don't care if TSC may be 2 weeks 3 years from now...doesn't affect me or any of you. CSC is on another planet.
One other thing then I will step down and back up and breathe:
I mentioned value in another thread and have been thinking of some analogies that fall in line with that statement...food for thought
    1. You live in New York and others live in California. Everyone from those two states orders a product from Amazon (same item) and pays $15.00 for shipping which is 5-7 days (disclaimer says to expect 7). Everyone in California receives theirs in 2-3 days while everyone in New York receives theirs in 7-10 days and all products are shipped from St. Louis.
    2. Same scenario but this time everyone buys a DVD from an Ebay seller in the same city. Everyone pays 25.00 for the DVD (I know, expensive but bear with me). Everyone in CA receives the unedited, full length directors cut Blu Ray and everyone in New York receives the made for TV version with commercials.
    3. Everyone on your street buys a fridge from Best Buy and pays $50.00 delivery fee. Everyone on the other side of the street gets the fridge delivered next business day while everyone on your side of the block has to wit 2 weeks due to back orders.
    4. Want to board early on your next flight? Pay for first class. You get to board before everyone else...but you paid extra for it....we all paid the same but because we are wearing Hawaiian shirts, we have to wait for others to board first
Yes there are exceptions and I realize some in CSC are waiting a while too but I suggest that maybe there are problems with the petitions (country, security checks, etc.) or they simply fell through the cracks.
Just with those 4 scenarios, how would you feel or react? Wouldn't think you were receiving much value for what you paid for would you? Yeah yeah, I know...they say 5 months but they say that for everyone...yet it only applies to half of us hence the examples above. There are many more I thought of but did not want to drag it out more than I already have.
I truly love my state of Texas but they are a serious disappointment regarding this process.
Ok I am done...back to waiting. BTW, is there a way to block threads? I know I should just avoid them but it is difficult to as there may be something of value in them but then, bam, another one mentioning their 20 day approval...I would rather block them so I can avoid more salt in the wounds
