Mike - where are you pulling this EU 40063 number from for Selectees for 2015?

Disasterous numbers really after such a positive start for EU peeps. For anyone over 40k it aint looking good now.

Quick question (that could be silly) on when the DV2015 first round starts in the September bulletin to be released on August 8^th.

So are we looking for a high first month for our categories ye? and does that high number mean that the quota for our region is going to be high for the year? i.e. it will be consistent across every bulletin for each month?

E.g. say I am EU40,500 and if the first bulletin for September has an allocation of up to say EU9000 then I would already be getting confident that my chances of an interview are alot better. Or is this not the case?

I am Irish. I dont need a visa to visit for up to 90 days normally. this wont change i assume? and my application wont be affected by entering and leaving the states for vacation purposes???

In the mean time can we go to the USA? Im asking specifically about the 90 days holiday visa? Cna we enter the states on holiday?

Quick question about the timing.

We submit the DS260 on may 19 as instructed. How long after that do we know IF / when our interview will be? Are these confims sent out on an on going basis?

Is this confirm of interview emailed or posted to us?

In a case where we are not selected...will we be informed of this too?

I know these are basic questions but Id appreciate not being hammered about it even so.

I assume you are DV2015 - best to make that clear. If so, that is pretty easy. It will be September 2015. The place you do it makes no difference to the month.
