    He has degree is better than a lot immigrants who came without any certificate and start with GED, with his bilingual skills I'm sure many service industries like banking finance needs him, they are many teller or personal banker service jobs need talents like him... He must make the first step by sending job application, as much as he can... don't be afraid for all the rejection, take all the bad experience as learning curve.

    And start with min wages job is not problem too because if he can show good performance then his salary will increase, better than he have "0" working experience in US from his resume.

    I have over 10 years of working experience with MBA too but I willing to compromised to start with entry level, I can't speak well English too but I decided to enrol in ELS program as long as I have my Green Card.

    and either way is good, if you plan to move to NYC then should take action asap so that he can apply jobs in NYC too, if not you may stuck in FL after he able to get a job.

    Yes, truck driver earn good money too, my father in law is earning $70,000 per annum as long-haul truck driver, is above average.

    Continuously send application without thinking that he will get a reply or not.

    I moved here in USA few months back.

    I also belong to tourism industry,

    I have more than 5 years of experience in accountancy. and within 2 months after arriving here in USA I got a job within my field, Though it was a starter level but I joined and after that I start applying to job that should suit my level and within next 2 month I achieved my goal and now I am working in a hotel in NYC that suits my profession and experience.

    hi everyone I got email from Abu Dhabi USem to morning stating my interview date but theres no attachments for my appointment letter and the requirements I need to prepare..

    anyone can help. thanks

    the same thing happened to me.i have already sent them the email and waiting for there reply.

    My wife got an email when she ask them that how we will do our medical and enter the embassy on the date of interview.

    She got a reply from them that she can present the printout of the email as a proof to the clinic. But they did not say any thing related to embassy that we can show the email while entering embassy.

    Hi All,

    Hope all are doing well, just wanted to update u all, that I have just received my appointment letter scheduled for October 1'st... But the issue is that my application was for my spouse and 9 years old son and a 5 years old daughter, I got appointments for both my son and spouse only and not my daughter!! any ideas on what can be done??

    I also got my interview date. But its an email of interview date.I did not receive the official appointment letter.

    Did you receive appointment letter in PDF format?

    It must be the appointment letter..just bring the document will be needed..and try to contact the clinic and ask step by step for the said visa category. .

    Yeh i will do the same. There will be no issue with the medical.

    I am just worried will the embassy let me in on the interview date with this kind of appointment letter.

    Coz there was no attachment in the email,they just copy and paste it on the email page.

    My fiancé received email with pdf attachments of the appointment letter with the requirements and the list of the clinic, will you be able to send it to me by message so we can see, just cover your name and case number for security.

    Your're welcome, just wait for their reply..and then repeat the email after 2 weeks from the date you send the first one..it will come soon just put more and more patience???

    Finally i got my appointment.

    I just have one confusion. i got an email.but its a letter kind of thing.on the bottom the interview date and time is mentioned.and on the email its mentioned that i should bring this letter with me.

    But its not an attachment so i can download ita and print it.its in email.So what should i do?Did you receive the letter by post or email?

    Hello everyone Im a bit worry now coz since August 27,2014 our case number appeared READY when we check to ceac status check, and my fiancé received also the letter from NVC that our package was sent to Abu Dhabi USem... but until now we don't get any feed back from Abu Dhabi USem if they receive the package.

    I also send them email 2 weeks back but I haven't receive any answer, my fiancé do the same 1 week back but he didn't receive any answers too..

    Does anybody went through same situation in Abu Dhabi USem?

    kindly let me know what to do..

    I am also going through the same situation.

    Mine is IR1 category and my case was also accepted for expedite processing.

    our status shows ready from 19 Aug 2014 and uptill now no response from Abu Dhabi embassy. I had sent them email 4 or 5 time.even fax them but no response.I think we just have to wait.

    Yeah im sending them email duting the transfer of my files..they used to reply on my email in a week. .just every after 2 weeks send them email to ask for the update..if they didn't reply on your email this week, try to send them email again on saturday..just give your case file..and your full name..goodluck

    By the way they are sending the interview appointment to the petitioner only via email?

    I dont know if you can help me in this.

    I just need to ask did you send any email to US embassy Abu Dhabi for immigrant visa?

    If Yes how long does they take to reply?

    As my case category was IR1 and our case was approved for expedite processing and status shows ready but no email or any thing from embassy for interview letter.

    I have already sent email to them 2 weeks back but still no reply.

    Hi all.
    Does this happened to anyone here in vj?
    My wife is my sponsor. We applied under f2a category but 5 months ago my wife became citizen and we request for upgrade. On 29 July our case was upgraded to IR1. Our pd is June 2012 and our case was completed on April 2014 before the upgrade. Now the problem is last week I called NVC for the interview. But they say its not schedule as our case is not complete. I was shocked to here that. Then they checked it and said its complete but its not updated in there system as completed. They have sent this issue to there supervisor. And now I don't know what to do and when can I expect interview to be scheduled. Already 4 months has passed since we received case completion email and yet they did not update in there system.

    Hi all,

    My passport is expiring in April 2015.

    i have applied for F2A category under my wife sponsorship.

    Last year my wife became citizen and we have sent email to NVC for upgrading and got a reply stating that it is under review.

    We are expecting our interview to be held in August 2014 and i am planning to travel in November 2014.

    So obviously i have to renew it as 6 month limit is there.

    So my question is when my passport is renewed do i need to inform NVC or US embassy or i should just take my new passport on the interview date.

    Salaam noor why don't you ask someone back home and pay extra money to expedite I am sure it won't take long!!!!

    I got to know that i can get it within 1 month in UAE.

    ok now one more query, if i renew it before my interview, do i need to inform NVC or the Embassy about my new passport?will they make any issue?

    Hi All,

    I have applied for F2A category and my PD is June 2012. My wife is my sponser.

    But now my wife is a citizen of US. We have alreay sent a request to NVC to upgrade our case and we received a reply that it is under review.

    Now the problem is we are expecting the interview date to be held in August 2014. and planning to travel to US on november 2014 but my passport is expiring on 09 April 2015. So my question is will i be able to travel as planned or i need to renew my passport, as the date for expiry of my passport is less than 6 months?
