  1. Hi guys!!

    I am a Nov 16 filler (11/14/16)

we send everything they asked since the begging, we have a lawyer that help us filled up everything since paperwork can get complicated sometimes, we are still waiting 😩 nothing has change, the only thing is late February the status change but never received an actual notice in the mail.

I filled up an inquiry last week and it says it takes 24 days to reply???? I havent visit my country in 2 years because of this, when is it gonna end? I never thought it will take this long.

😩😩😩😩 sorry im just venting is so frustrating

  2. I posted my review last night!! I am finally back in my hometown, my visa was issued the same day and its getting closer to where they will delivery, God willling ill be with my husband next saturday!!!! :content::content: :content: :content::content::content::content:

If you are from Mexico and have some questions about the interview and all that sent me a private msg, I was so happy when I was in Ciudad Juarez that I found this website its seriously the best, the reviews help me a lot, I was more prepare then most of the people, ciudad juarez is the easy part, like i said I brought a lot of proof with me and they didnt ask to see anything just my previous visas, all of them, I had 2 tourist and one J1 so make sure you have them all.

    Besos

  3. Hi everyone!! Just a quick post to say: the nightmare is over!!

Yesterday I had my POE at the LAX, and it was smooth, despite the huge line I had to pass through. Later I'll make a review about it. But I wanna give you guys hope that IT WORTH IT!!!!!! It's so good to know that I don't need facetime, Skype, email or any eletronical device to see my husband!! I'm unpacking right now, but I stopped to say hi and tell you all who are still passing throught it: hang in there!! The reward is amazing!!

    :)

So happy you are finally with your husband!!

I am glad everything went smooth, now we know u are safe and its time for you to go out, leave the computer for a few days, breath, go shopping, just enjoy yourself, but keep praying for us!!! Ill be having my interview on wed, cant believe its finally here!!!

    God bless you guys!!

  4. 30 more days until interview. Seems as if it will never get here! By the way has anyone ever done a scrapbook for the interview with all photos dates, letters, receipts in it instead of bringing everything separate? Just thinking of ways to keep things better organized and more fun for them to go through.

Im bringing something like that, I got on of those binders and first i put all the tickets, dates, copies of the stamps of the Passports, emails, parking lot tickets haha all the stuff from before the engagement, pictures, then i put a a different color page and start the engagement part,, pictures, received of payments on our names from, music, venue, food, flowers, church all that, then the times we have seen each other after the wedding, pics, hotel reservations ,plane tickets. im bringing a folder with the stuff im gonna need more like, my previous visas, ds260, P4, i-184, original long forms of birth certificades from both of us, Passport pictures, wedding certificate copies, they already have all the original but just in case. On my p4 only said bring Passport.

Also the wedding álbum, some congrats on your wedding cards, copies of the check we received for our wedding, phone call, emails between my in laws and me. copies of all the documents sent to USCIS and NVC and thats it, I know its a lot but in mexico they are kind of rude haha hope it helps!

Ill post pics of everything letter

  5. Did you get them all in one day ?

Also a question to anyone, I have still few passport pictures of my face ;) which I sent to nvc, are they still good to use in Embassy and at medical or do I have to take a new one ? (they are 4 months old, interview in 15 days)

No I got 3 on Dec 8 and I got 3 on January 14, I had all the documents from like when I was a baby, the only one i got like doublé its the hepatitis B, since I had chicken pox when i was a kid they said I only needed 1, will see what the panel say cause in mexico you can only do your medical 1 or 2 days prior your interview!!

Well i think you can use those they said 6 months or something like that but I mean after all this time we know how picky they are, if I was you ill bring 4 different sets with different outfits and hairstyle lol :goofy:

15 days so close now!!! :dancing:

  6. I spent the weekend finishing up organizing all of our documents for our interview on Friday January 23 in Santo Domingo. I probably went overboard in preparing, but it feels good to have done so. I have everything organized in a small accordion file that has compartments for our original civil documents, copies of civil documents, copies of the DS-260 confirmation, AOS plus tax transcripts and 2014 W-2, lots of photo evidence with timelines, flight tickets, joint financial records, whatsapp samples, facetime photo samples, and copies of all USCIS, NVC and Embassy correspondence. To this file we will add her original birth certificate, updated police report, medical exam results, and another original copy of our marriage certificate.

My flight is Wednesday to give us one more day ahead of the interview...just in case.

My wife and I are praying hard. As is her entire family and mine as well. I cannot believe the interview day is finally here after 14 months of this process. I'm excited but terribly nervous as well. Although we have a ton of relationship evidence as I was fortunate enough to be able to visit her every 3 to 4 weeks for the last 2 years, I'm still bothered by the notion of how much power the Consular has over our lives at this point. All the time, effort, waiting, and stress all comes down to these final days. I've never wanted anything more in my life than this visa for my wife.

Im crying here after Reading your post, I dont know why maybe its the pre interview blues, anyways, I am gonna be praying for you and your wife, I am sure everything will be fine and soon she will be with you statte side. Im having my interview the 28, I organized everything already and hopefully it will be enough as you said. Wow 14 months its a long time, but lets just be positive and focus on the big picture, after this no more long distance, no more border issues, no more holidays apart, just happiness!!

God willing everything will work out the way you guys want it!!

  7. Hahaha that was great.

I have 19 days to the interview! I am going to get shots the week before because I have no documentation of the shots I had a few years ago. Anyone else have to do that?

Mee!! My interview is in 10 days and since i didnt have documentación from the past few years i had to take some shots again, MMS, influenza, Hepatitis B,

Tdap and Varicella !! I dont know hows in Canada but in Mexico those are required! :)

  8. It was very fast right? Can't complain. Thanks a lot my dear.

Well book the flight tonight, but I'm really hoping to do my POE next week already! Too much time without my hubby, we can't wait to be with each other!

Omg, I'm already missing the food here! Haha good thing is in California there are a lot of Brazilian markets, so once a while (aka every week!) I can stop by and get some flavours from home!

My dad is doing great! He's eating so healthy and exercising now (thing that didn't exist befor the heart attack).

God really blessed us with this opportunity to be together on the hard times and now share the happiness!

Thank you so much for your kindness and support my friend! May God bless you!

Im glad you are done sweetie, ill be having my interview in 12 days omg cant believe it!!

enjoy your time with your family and friends, eat your food and let us know when u are state side..

Everything happens for a reason and i am glad u were with your dad during this hard time.. better times are coming your way God bless you

  9. Wow, cant believe how quiet this thread has been the last month lol. I guess none of us have any updates. I still am waiting for NVC to scan my checklist response which was sent a week ago and then the 60 day waiting starts all over again. At this point since in May I will have been married for 2 years, we have decided that even if I get the visa by March or April, it only makes sense to travel after our 2nd anniversary so I can get my 10 year residence and dont have to deal with USCIS anytime soon.

Oh and Happy New Year everyone! lol

    Helloo Dave87!!

No news, my interview is in two weeks wohooo, so hopefully ill have good news soon, im sure u wont have to wait 60 days again!!

Happy new year, God bleess you and hopefully this new year its better for all of us
