JohnandAmy got a reaction from Merrytooth in How to deal with an EXTREMELY stubborn spouse?
I'm so thankful I have a husband who is my best friend now. My ex husband is from Syria and the cultures are the same as your husband. I've been there and done that and I would NEVER marry into that culture again. It was very mentally and physically abusive and it was his way or no way at all, no matter that this is the USA. Our cultures are just way too different.......I couldn't live a solid year in the house with him but was married a total of 6 long years and we have a son together. I hope you can find a way of communicating but I can guarantee that he won't change.

JohnandAmy got a reaction from asael1987 in Sept 28 NOA2 and still no case number? what should we do?
We were approved by USCIS on the 16th of September. The NVC only just received our file on the 8th of December. Many phone calls to the NVC and some to USCIS I have done. Finally had to get my state Senator's office involved, which they still are. Turned out that the USCIS sent our paperwork to the wrong place. They sent it to the National Research Center instead of the NVC. Was all going smoothly up to the approval. Now waiting for our paperwork to be sent to the Embassy.......

Being that we were approved and received the update last night, I'm very surprised that I wasn't asked to submit more information for either myself or my fiance. My fiance will be flying in from Scotland Saturday and was nice news to have before he came. We were the first to post about being transferred to the CSC in here and I've been following this particular thread since then to see how quickly things seemed to be moving along. We obviously weren't the fastest on the list for an approval. I have been through the system before with an ex husband and the process, being it was a different way that I went through the system, is very trying on the patience, frustrating and very confusing as well. You can speak with an officer, ask a question and get an answer then call back 10 minutes later and get a whole different answer than you just received from the first officer. I do understand how frustrating it really is. I never bothered calling to ask because I already knew that things needed to run its own course. I only called to update some information. Having been through USCIS before, it is far better these days than it was back then. Was a proper nightmare back then. Plus now we have forums like this to give support and to help each other through.
I'm so sorry that the earlier filers are still not receiving anything. I can't imagine how devastating it is to see us later filers that were transferred getting approvals first. Doubtful that we will ever really know the reasons behind it. I will still follow this thread because it will be nice to see the earlier filers start getting approved. Not only that, I hope everyone gets your approvals very soon.

    Hi everyone,
My fiance gave me his account to use so I have been reading and reading.
This will be updated new news for everyone. I was a May filer for the I-129f and also received the same transfer notice as everyone. I received the August 8 transfer to the local office update but received the letter this morning in the mail already that we have been transferred to CALIFORNIA!!! This may be fantastic news!!!!! We are sooooooo excited! I thought this might give a ray of sunshine to all of you or most of you

From how I read the letter I received in the mail, it was sent from TSC to the CSC which gave the Mesquite address at the bottom. Thinks things may be moving along quite swiftly now.
I received this letter in less than a full week! I was expecting maybe a couple of weeks but less than a week. Just wow!
