    I would not worry about the time it takes for you to be given the date of your oath ceremony. As you may recall I live near south bend ( they do sometimes have oath ceremonies there at the law courts ) but mine ended up being in Indianapolis.  I suspect that you may have to wait 3-4 weeks before you will know for sure where your ceremony will be, but odds on you may well be in Indianapolis too.

     

    When I attended mine on July 11th there was at least one other ceremony going on the same day !

     

    Just be prepared that it will be a quick process and with little pomp and circumstance.  I am sure for the folks doing this every day its like working on a production line.

    I know when it's actually happening it's fairly short. It's just the wait to it that's super long. I didn't know you live near SB. So, it seems you can get any location within the state. I honestly don't mind the ceremony to be in Indy as my in-laws are from Indy and it's fairly convenient for them to attend the ceremony there. I guess for now I will just wait.     As some of you might know I had my interview in Indianapolis on 6/16. I received the recommendation for approval on the spot and then soon I got an update that Oath Ceremony will be scheduled. However, since then I have been waiting to hear about ceremony date and venue. I know they said the Oath ceremony will be local to my area. As I live in Fort Wayne, IN, the next scheduled ceremony in Fort Wayne is in September. Then in October. There were none in June and July, and none in August. It's a possibility that I get in September but it's also possible that I don't. Getting a bit anxious. Should I wait more or should I call and ask what's going on?

    you did have exactly my timeline except of two last steps, the interview and the Oath:))

      Do you have guys any idea when gonna be our turn to get a bunch of invitation for interview letters.

    it seems the february files start to get them already... I assume in 2-4 weeks the line gonna move forward... for my job and for my life it is critical, my hasband and me we are driving to have 1-2 month tour for vacation....

    I wish I knew when it will be your turn but I just hope it's soon!

    Had my interview at Indianapolis today. Drove 2 hours from Fort Wayne to Indianapolis for my 8AM appointment and was 4 minutes late (thanks to the rush hour in Indianapolis). Was very nervous because of that and was having thoughts of getting turned away. However, they took me in and the interview went fine. Then I was out in less than 15 minutes. The officer told me that I passed the test and that he has approved me. I should receive the letter about Oath ceremony in 45 to 60 days. He also told me that it will most likely be in Fort Wayne or South Bend as those are generally the locations for Northern Indiana District.

    My Family member has taken a turn for the worst and currently battling British Airways and NHS Bureaucracy to get mt flight changed so i and my wife can fly out ASAP... Today is one of those days you wish you could just sprout wings......

    Congratulations Gary_UK. May I know the Venue in Indy? I have my interview tomorrow in Indy. So far your's and my timelines are 1 month apart so I am very hopeful my Oath ceremony will be in August.
