Wasn't kicked out ... just being a smarty pants since people complain about the number of posts that go on in that thread. Since many people don't read the wiki or NVC instructions they don't want to have sift through community forum conversations to find their answers.

These processing times are very normal and everyone else is in the same situation. You'll be experiencing a lot of rage if that is your reaction to the process. Hopefully some recent changes at NVC will speed things up a bit, but either way it is a long, frustrating process.
There is always a link from the original post in the original forum that takes you to the new location and shows that it was moved.
The best advice anyone can give you here is to read the NVC filers thread, especially the first post and read the wiki that walks you through the process step by step and has updated and reliable time frames.

Geez, I left yesterday with 2 pages and now there are 7 pages of soil for me to sift through. People should just stop posting anything so that I don't have to read anything at all.

I have no idea but I definitely think that it's worth it to take the time to make it known. Send an email and maybe even take the time to call one day just to ask for a supervisor and let them know. I would think that if a supervisor got that compliment they would let Rick know about it and maybe they even have merit awards or employee of the month or something. I'm sure it would make Rick's day, make a supervisor beam and hopefully give them a reason to be extra helpful for at least a few hours that day.
I had the same experience with Jim, he was awesome!!! I'm going to find a way to let them know, probably when I call to ask for a supervisor to look at my DS261 that still isn't approved. :-)

I'm seeing all kinds of DS261s get approved and IV invoices get unlocked for people that submitted their DS261 after us!!! Geez NVC, you're killin' me!!

I was also told that last Thursday by Jim, that it should have been done and that he can add it to a spreadsheet that gets reviewed by supervisors. I heard him typing while he said it. Jim was really helpful and nice. I imagine all of the cubicles filled with people typing on fake keyboards, haha. Nothing yet, but if I check the fee page 47 more times today, that should help.

Our DS261 was the same day!!! Just in case I'm going to check the website 18 more times right now.

They always say that. They are also working 28 hours a day, skipping smoke breaks and sending all the files to a secret underground facility where genetically engineered squirrels can turn out 4000 files a day. And, if William Wallace were here he would destroy the English with lightning bolts from his #######!!!
