  1. My wife has her seminar this June 10, and I read in the cfo website that she needs to bring the original and a photocopy of the immigrant summary sheet. Our problem is, the immigrant summary sheet is stapled to the yellow envelope. Can my wife remove the data sheet from the envelope? If not, what is the best way to approach this situation? Does she just have the sheet photocopied while still attached to the envelope, and then bring the whole Visa packet with her to the seminar so that they can see the original copy as well? I read somewhere here that its bad to take the data sheet from the staple. I do not know what is right. For the people who have gone through the seminar this year, please tell me how you approached the situation.

  2. I have a question. Im self employed and filed for my tax on april 15. I havent made a decent income this year, so i had my brother help me with sponsoring my wife. Until now my tax transcript is not available online and my wifes interview is this june 1. My brother has his tax transcript, and his income is well over the poverty line. If i cant provide my tax transcript for my wifes interview, will my brothers tax transcript be enough for them?

  3. Hi, my case has been complete last friday, and im starting to gather last minite documents needed for my wifes interview while we wait for the email containing our interview date for US embassy manila. I noticed that my wife needs to provide a confirmation sheet of the ds-260, when i go to the ceac website, i do not see the option on the receipt page for the ds260. Im afraid to click on the "complete" link of the ds-260 section at the front page of the ceac when you first access the site after signing in (where you see the N/As) because i read before if you click on it, it will reset the ds-260. So how do i print a new one? do i really have to access the ds-260 form again in order to get the confirmation page?

  4. Hi, is it necessary for me to send a notorized letter of consent to my wife in order for her to bring our son to the states? My son was born in the philippines, and i already did his crba and he has his own US passport. Im just wondering if you did the letter, or did not have too since your child was traveling with parent.

  5. I just started being self employed on August of this year, my question is on the "current individual annual income" do I put what I will be making from August-December, or do I estimate what I will be making from August-August 2015? I know this may sound stupid, but it is really bugging me, and I really do not want to make any mistakes at this stage of the process, since it is now a 60 day wait for reviewing.

  6. My wife told me that she does not have vaccination records, because when she was a child, all her vaccines were given free at a clinic therefore they did not have any records. Can she just go to her medical exam without any vaccination records in hand? Will she have to get new vaccination shots during her exam then? If so, is that pay separate from what she has to pay for the whole medical exam? Anybody went to St Lukes without a vaccination record and was fine?

  7. I know this question has been asked before, and I've seen different answers to this question

I'm currently filling up my i-864, and I read that you should not leave anything blank. Either put "None" or "N/a" for every space you leave blank. I feel the document would look very unprofessional if I have "n/a" filled up for every space not used. This question goes out to the recent petitioners that have passed the i-864 stage, what did you guys do? Leave them blank or did you put "none" or "n/a". For those that left it blank, did you receive an RFE? I feel like I should just send a copy as well of the instructions stating leave blank ( highlighted ) so I could explain myself why i left it that way. What you think?
