If you didn't receive a letter by now looks like it's gonna be up to May 7، don't worry just one more visa bulletin.

  2. PD of Feb 13, CC April 1, 204. Mexico.

How is that going to get more votes for election? Yes, maybe in 5+ years when these imigrants can apply for citizenship, if they even do and if they vote once a citizen. And why would NVC want more spanish voters? I'm sorry but your comment doen't make any sence to me.

That's the truth the Hispanic US citizens will vote for anyone support their people and you just said it's 5+ years which is for elections not much because the round is 4 years , and that's why the president is issuing these executive orders to give to more than 4 million illegal immigrants a path to citizenship do you think these people will vote for the republicans definitely not, it's all about elections and voters do you know that North America eats more than 50,000 from the F2A quota (88,000) and the rest of the world is competing on the remaining visas every year.

Do you know that Mexico is the only country which is not having any country limit that means if there are 88,000 Mexican applicants and their priority date is current they will eat the whole quota, and the rest of the world will wait.

Do you know that there are roughly 54 million Hispanics living in the United States.

Think about it and be fair with yourself you will find that everything goes with elections and who will take power to rule.

  3. FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES

First: (F1) Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens: 23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference.

Second: Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents: 114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, plus any unused first preference numbers:

    A. (F2A) Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents: 77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

    B. (F2B) Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older) of Permanent Residents: 23% of the overall second preference limitation.

Third: (F3) Married Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens: 23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.

Fourth: (F4) Brothers and Sisters of Adult U.S. Citizens: 65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences.

dose someone make me understand this all complex calculation ,, it goes our of my mind , please

i explain a bit which uptill understand is Dos issues 226,000 total visas every fiscal year

    F1 eats - 23,400

    F2A eats - 114200

    F2B eats ?

    F3 - 23400

    F4 - 65000 total = -(226000) which is equal understand this

but what is that conditions 75 % exempt i make that condition bold above please share what is that :) thanks

Mexico + Dates exempted from the per country limit (These dates is usually the dates earlier than the Mexico cutt-off date) eats 75% from the quota.

  4. how you calculated this ? thats maths behind this figures

87,900 * 0.07 will give you the upper limit for any country.

Last year they issued 21,589 visas only for mexico.

15,614 visas for Dominican because they exempt dates from the country limit to manipulate the country limit for some countries.

Last year issued 50,218 to North America from the overall Quota 87,900

  5. Well according to the visa bulletin through the years since 1991 there was 7 retrogression's , wich one hit this year in 2014, by all visa bulletins from 1991 we will not have another retrogression in 2015 or 2016 , retrogression happens betwen 5-6 year and maybe more. Also right now they are processing cases from JAN 1 2013 till MAR 22 2013, so they have cleared the 2012 cases (most of them - 99% maybe?) Also it is start of FY2015 so they have avaiable 114,200 visas + those that arent used in F1 category, so they are going slowly but sure so we wont hit again by retrogress. My predictions for Visa Bulletin in Feb 2015 are that they will move by 3 weeks only again, and maybe in March 2015 there will be the same story , 3 weeks movement. But after that we finaly might get some air. But anyway this is just my guessin and information according to all visa bulletins through the years.

Also, for approved cases from VSC yes maybe there will be backlog, but that backlog will be in NVC, they are now processing cases for a very long time, as i know it needs 2 months till you get IV fee invoice number than after that , 2 months again for reviewing cases and in 80% of cases is hited by checklist that means another 2 months for review!

I think that anyone with case closed and priority dates till AUG 2013 will be finished in June 2015. But hey fellas this is my guessing and hopin! nothing official nothing for sure!

Oh no i dont believe so that there is information like that, but since we are in F2A category wich is for spouses and childrens of LPR, every LPR can have only one spouse and can support only one spouse, looks like there will be 114,200 visas for spouses only, but there are childrens of LPR also so theyr gona eat some visas :) but anyway i think that around 88000 visas are for f2a spouse :)

impressive .. :) 88000 visa for FY 2015 its good enough i guess , along with we need to find some statistics there must be by USCIS or DOS , we can get more closer to our destination at right time :) agree ?

A fact that you always forget in the visa bulletin,

*NOTE: For January, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 22FEB13. F2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are available to applicants chargeable to all countries EXCEPT MEXICO with priority dates beginning 22FEB13 and earlier than 15APR13. (All F2A numbers provided for MEXICO are exempt from the per-country limit; there are no F2A numbers for MEXICO subject to per-country limit.)

Mexico eats the whole quota because they don't have any country limit which is the 7%

Do you know how many applicantions are pending for Mexico: 97,262

F2A Coutries waiting list as of November 2014 ,

    Total pending: 257,355

    Mexico 97,262 37.8%
    Dominican Republic 33,436 13.0%
    Cuba 13,024 5.1%
    Philippines12,687 4.9%
    Haiti 10,105 3.9%
    All Others 90,841 35.3%
Also only 87,900 per year are avilable for F2A.
  6. when the VB went Current for F2A in Sept 2013, most of our cases (for example mine,PD 21MAY2013) were still under the ¨initial review¨ at Vermont Service Center (USCIS). it was until Nov 4, 2013

that my case was Approved and until Dec 2013 to get to NVC, where we pay all the fees, sent the documents.. My case got completed by March 2014 (at this point the VB was at 8SPT2013, my PD was current) but they didn´t schedule a IV for me, neither the months after... and my case got stuck with the Retrogression to cases of 2012 in June 2014,

similar to my case, are a lot more others... who we´ve been ¨patiently¨waiting for our PDs to become current, get our IV date scheduled and someday in the near future reunite with our families...

Bro this is because of the country limit of 7% visas were available but not for your country anymore at that time.

  7. First all I did some kind of data collection and some minimal analysis and I want to share it with you to show you how they were reporting only the field offices numbers till the last quarter of the Fiscal Year 2013.

The sources for this data analysis are from the following links,

    USCIS Reports for I-130: http://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/data-set-form-i-130-petition-alien-relative

This data for all the family preference which includes,

    F1, F2A, F2B, F3, F4

These categories receive 226,000 visas per year.

I tried to add the data directly here but it's not getting formatted properly so Please find the spreadsheet in the following link:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_-J0dY6OfqzMFpsVVdJd2wxeVU/view?usp=sharing

That's a pretty big number for the pending I130. For 2014 they approved 254,351

I tried to find a way to do the summation for the pending number for any FY always there is something wrong I don't know exactly if someone could help in how we can formulate the pending number.

  8. I hope so ya basha ;)

I think also they might add note this VB (Jan-2015) or Feb-2015 about next movement and they might say will move couple of months 3 or 4 next one :)

    It's just a hope

    Hopefully "ya basha"

Because I got sick from this guessing and analytics.

Hi everybody. Could someone please tell me when I should expect to receive my interview letter? I called NVC on Dec. 1st and was told my case was completed on Nov. 17, 2014. I received a case complete email on Dec. 3rd but the letter was dated Nov. 26. It doesn't make sense!

Wishing everyone the best of luck :)

It's based on your priority date once it's current you will get the interview letter and it's not based on the day when your case is completed and to check is your PD is current or not you have to check the visa bulletin every month from the following link:http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

    Good Luck!

  9. Just to share with you last month November numbers, again in Mumbai they scheduled only 35 and if they scheduled the same number in Delhi that means only 70 a month!!! way less than what it should be scheduled.

Egypt they just scheduled for November 16 interviews which is also so less.

India last year they issued 2,014 F2A visas for India that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule 167 interviews a month.

Egypt last year they issued 382 F2A visas that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule monthly 32 interviews but

Looks like for Mumbai it's consistent 35 last month and 35 this month.

  10. The baby will be added as a derivative to the principal applicant and if she gave birth after you received the interview letter you can just reach out to the american embassy and the will ask for some documents and they will add the derivative for you and if she gave birth before receiving the interview letter you can call NVC and they will ask you to summit some required documents and then they will add her to the interview letter as a derivative. Good luck and congratulation!

  11. ahmedsafwat

I'm also applying for my wife and my PD is 26SEP2013

    what is your PD?

I checked your link about scheduling interview in Cairo and it was interesting and I checked their Case# for F2A only and I found some case# is after my one how it come?

    Rabena ma3ana ya sa7by

    :)

    My PD 10Sep2013 wa rbbena ma3ana game3an zh2ony bas yla el7amdulah.

Actually it's ok to find some case numbers after yours because the case number doesn't reflect the priority date some with older priority date their file reached NVC after yours and that's why their case is current right now.

  12. Do you have the numbers for the Philippines?

Can you share the link where you found these numbers?

Mumbai Consulate October Interview List (PDF): http://photos.state.gov/libraries/mumbai/1057584/Appointment%20schedule/Appointments-October2014.pdf

    Last Year (2013) Statistics : http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/AnnualReports/FY2013AnnualReport/FY13AnnualReport-TableV.pdf

Cairo (Egypt) consulate October Interview List : http://egypt.usembassy.gov/consular/iv8.html

For Philippines they don't publish on the embassy web site the interview schedule for the month but last year they have issued 4,636 F2A visas.

  13. Just to share with you some numbers, last year they issued 2,014 F2A visas for India that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule 167 interviews a month but if you look into mumbai scheduled F2A interviews for October you will find that they just scheduled 35 and if they scheduled the same number in Delhi that means only 70 a month!!! way less than what it should be scheduled.

Taking Egypt as another example they issued last year 382 F2A visas that means if they are going to issue the same this year they have to schedule montly 32 interviews but they just schedule for october 13 interviews which is also so less.

I don't know how things are going inside NVC but looks like they have a problem.
