  1. I called them yesterday and told me same thing no visa available for you the cut off is 01-Sep-13

I told her yes but this for May, 2015 what about June, 2015 you usually send emails to who have interview in June she said yes but not yet, I said what about people get interview date now she said some times they have update for some cases, and at the end she told me to call again end of this week

I think may be because my case just completed in 24-April-2015

Hopefully i'll get the interview soon :)

Did you receive the case complete email?

Hi anybody call to them about IL email be coz we get not engouht time lift ?

You can go and do the medical exam without the email, don't wait.

I hope they ask for documents before interview

Thank you bro wish you the same rbbena yebarek feel.

  3. Thanks Ahmed basha for this information

So, how long do you think will take after interview to get the visa on hand?

I'll call the embassy once I know the interview date.

What about you, did NVC tell you the interview date or what?

    Good luck ya sa7by :)

7abeby ya Kimo I don't know how long but by default its 60 days but may be it would be shorter. I will try to call them today again and I will keep you posted.

Additional processing you will find a link for that on the US embassy in Egypt website.

  4. Hello, I had same situation as you

    My PD Sep,26,2013

I called NVC that my wife is pregnant and what should I do when baby come. The representative told me if case still at NVC so I've to send birth certificate and pay iv fee for child but if case complete I've to contact with the US embassy in my country.

My wife gave birth middle of April,2015 then I called to tell them that they said my case is complete and told them my wife delivered the baby. Another one said I don't know you might have to contact with the US embassy.

I read that member here same as us and she contacted the US embassy in her country and she is dealing with them not NVC.

At that time if you got your baby and the PD is current wait until you get your I/L and then contact your embassy, if the embassy asked you to send the supporting documents to them before the interview that would better for you because it still reduce the additional processing time after the interview, if the embassy asked you to bring the supporting documents for your new baby on the interview day it's ok but you have to wait more additional processing time after the interview to get the visas issued. Good luck.

  5. Ok peeps,

Just to break the ice, check out the previous experience by people before us and how anxious they all got along the line but eventually their Interview letters came.

So keep up the hopes :)

Hopefully today or tomorrow they will start for F2A. Yesterday many of IR category got their interviews.

I feel your pain bro, I am also September 10.

The people from September 8 to September 15 they got their cases complete early last year.

  6. Rabena ma3ak ya sa7by :)

Let us know when you finish with them

Do you know that the link in US embassy in Cairo for Interview Schedule is not working until now?

    Do you know why?

    Good luck :)

    Did u call ?

Kmohaseb good luck for you also bro. Looks like the US Embassy in Cairo they stopped publishing any interview dates they even removed it from the main menu.

I just called the NVC and they told me there is no available yet for my case and once the interview date will be scheduled you will be notified.

It's frustrating to hear that at that moment but hopefully things will be changed in the next couple of days.

  7. How can you be sure.

If the Bulletin has mentioned 22nd June as a cut off date. it means that 22 June is also included for the Interview Scheduling.

    Doesnt it? :huh::huh::huh:

    http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/general/glossary.html#C

Cut-off Date: The date that determines whether a preference immigrant visa applicant can be scheduled for an immigrant visa interview in any given month. When “C” (meaning Current) is listed instead of a specific date, that means all priority dates are eligible for processing. The cut-off date is the priority date of the first applicant who could not be scheduled for a visa interview for a given month. Applicants with a priority date earlier than the cut-off date can be scheduled. However, if your priority date is on or later than the cut-off date, you will need to wait until your priority date is reached (becomes current). To find out whether a preference case can be scheduled, see the Visa Bulletin.
